Mendy by far the most fun and efficient left back I've ever used in FUT. I previously had Andrew Robertson and I "downgraded" to Mendy after playing against him and realizing how OP he was. He is definitely worth it. I use him on sentinel chem and he is so fast, so strong, and good defensively. He has 4 star skills which is great because I usually like to play a possession based game and 5 star weak-foot so he can tackle and pass with both feet, and also check in on his right when dribbling. I have his runs on basic attacking support. It disgusts me when I see reviews calling Marcelo the most fun full-back in the game yet they tell him to stay back while attacking. Marcelo is probably flipping you off while you make him sit in your own half in line with your center backs. And this is coming from someone who in real life plays as a pretty traditional right back. Mendy rarely gets caught out on the counter attack and he seems to time his runs perfectly on the left side. He actually chips in with a few goals and assists every now and then and makes many more goal contributions than he is at fault for by getting counter-attacked. I don't think I have come up against a single forward who just gets the better of him all day down the flank. He's saved my skin many times with insane last ditch slide tackles after a striker beats my center backs. All in all, he's a brilliant all around left back. Top LB until TOTY

Ferland Mendy is one of a kind LB in Fifa 20 first and foremost because of his 5 WF. I really like the fact that he can tackle and pass with both feet and that's something that is not usual at all for any full backs.
