He's a very consistent CM/CDM, he always does his job and is always there.

I wouldnt say he's in the top 3, but definitly in the top 5.

For his price, he's a bargain.

Cheap must have

After 40 rivals matches (d4/d3), I can tell you that this guy is literally everywhere, I played him as a CDM in a 4-2-3-1 with Gattuso Baby, and he overshadowed him, I only saw him. He's tall, defends very well in hand-to-hand combat, but he has some gaps in interceptions, but his presence on the ground pardons him. I needed a solid Eredivisie CM/CDM to link Neres and Bergwijn and van de Beek was the best option. For his price, he didn't dissapoint. Before I changed my team, I've used IF Naingolan (85) and Witsel as cdm's. Compared to those 2, van de Beek can hold his ground.
