This review is probably not going to be seen by many people at this late stage of the worst FIFA in history, however, I felt like writing this because I have my HSC Trial Exams (end of year high school exams) right now and I want to occupy my limited number of brain cells to FIFA instead of studying. Before I go further, my FUT Champs WL rank is typically Elite 3 or Gold 1, this is due to the fact I have had limited coins throughout this FIFA.
I recently packed TOTS Ramos (96) in one of those retarted player picks from 5 players rated 86+. I decided to change up my defensive line as a result of this brilliant addition. My new defensive line consists of RB - TOTS Trent (95 Red Picks), RCB - TOTS Ramos (96), LCB - RTTF Eder Militao (89) and LB - Icon Moments Roberto Carlos (93, untradeable). Since arriving at my team Militao has certainly made his presence known, I use him in a 4-2-3-1 narrow and use him with an Anchor chem style, one of the first things I noticed about him is his height. The man is 6'1" and with his 99 Jumping and 95 Heading Accuracy (stats after applying anchor chem style), his ability to defend crosses and attack corners makes him a valuable player to any team. Pretty much all his defensive stats are maxed out:
- Interceptions - 96
- Heading Accuracy - 95
- Defensive Awareness - 99
- Standing Tackle - 99
- Sliding Tackle - 98
Along with his brilliant defensive stats, Militao has the Strength (90) and Aggression (99) to boss his opponents and out strength opposing players. The Brazilian CB also has an incredible 97 Stamina, this is a stat that not all defenders in this game have been blessed with. His ability to run all game long gives those using him the advantage of never having to sub him off, unless in the scenario that he gets injured. Militao's pace is still good enough to compete with all the sweaty TOTS attackers at this stage of the game and it's unfortunate that Madrid didn't progress further in the Champions League.
Overall I'd say this guy is a very solid CB, most likely better than many other pacey and tall defenders, and probably the best option for his price. If you're considering doing his 90 rated Flash Back SBC, please DONT! That SBC is valued at around 700,000 coins (PS4), it's not worth it when you can get the 89 version or even TOTS Diego Carlos (91) who's around 220,000 coins (PS4). ONLY do his 90 SBC if you have players that you don't mind getting rid of, otherwise, it's not worth it. This 89 Militao has been so fun to play with, I'd recommend him to anyone considering the player, he won't let you down, that's what Varane was for in the Man City game.
All these stats are after adding an anchor chemistry style:
- 92 - Pace
- 98 - Defending (Just insane)
- 96 - Interceptions
- 95 - Heading Accuracy
- 99 - Defensive Awareness
- 99 - Standing Tackle
- 98 - Sliding Tackle
- 94 - Physicality
- 99 - Jumping
- 97 - Stamina (Incredible)
- 90 - Strength (Seems better in-game)
- 99 -Aggression (Huge for this card)
- Height - 6'1"
- 92 - Reactions
- 83 - Short Passing
- 82 - Long Passing
- 76 - Balance (Not such a big problem in-game)
- 84 - Composure (Could be better)
