Player Review
89 - Normal
I packed Alisson during EA Access and I wanted to try him before I sold him. I haven't sold him yet and I would only sell him if I change my team. The fact that this cards price is going down just shows how broken this game is. Let us dive into his stats and see why he is such a beast.
Diving: 85 Diving feels about right on this card. He manages to reach the finesse shots that look like they're going in about 70% of the time. And other shots, he manages to dive quick enough and well enough to stop those shots.
Handling: Probably the most noticeable issue with this card. 84 Handling does feel right though as he manages to catch some shots. But about 60% of the time, he will refuse to catch it, it might slip out of his hands and he consistently punches it out when there is a corner which has caused me problems on a few occasions.
Kicking: On one occasion, Alisson has kicked it out and he has gotten me an assist. There's nothing too special in this area as most keepers tend to kick the same way.
Reflexes: A stat that really shows on the pitch. Many sweaty goals have been stopped by the reflexes that Alisson has. He manages to react to certain situations under pressure very well and it has kept me in many games.
Speed: Alisson has the rushes out of goal trait which makes you feel more calm when you go to bring your keeper out because he comes out pretty fast and makes himself look as big as possible to the opponent.
Positioning: 90 Positiong is perfect on this card. Alisson just seems to be in the right place at the right time, all of the time. The one stat that really stands out. It really helps with sweaty goals especially combined with those 89 reflexes.
I genuinely think that Alisson is one of the best keepers in FIFA 20. Alisson isn't a keeper that will save you every game but he will on most occasions. A keeper of this caliber and at a cheap price of 42,000 coins (at the time of this writing) is definitely worth a buy.
