So I tried out Baby King Kenny and I felt like he already was an even better version of Ben Yedder sif. Since the prime Dalglish dropped during the release of the TOTY, I managed to pick a fresh Dalglish up for 2.355.000 coins. And he is worth every penny.

The best thing about this card has to be his movement and quick dribbling. I play him with an engine chemstyle and he is turning like Neymar and especially his fakeshoots give him a "boost" not many players get. He always times his runs so that he is not offside, or dropps back to come short when needed.

Shooting - insane. Left, right foot doesn´t matter. Off balance, facing a bit away from the goal, doesn´t matter. He has neither missed a sitter for me yet, nor has he hit the post a single time. Best thing about this shooting has to be near post strong shots or even near post finesse shots.

Dribbling - as i said, I love his dribbling. He does not take weird touches and his first touch often times gives him the space to imidiately take a shot. Very similar to Ben Yedder sif.

Passing - short passing is great, he is capable of doing quick one-twos with his partner up front. Long passing isn´t really a part of my game besides on the wing, so I don´t know about that.

Pace - He is extremely fast, not Mbappé speed, but quick enough to overrun the defence. Maybe put a hunter on him if you like your players to get in behind all the time. Engine works perfectly for me though.

Defence - decent I guess, he has enough stamina and aggression to pressure the defence

Physis - he does not get pushed off that easily thanks to his high agility and balance (fakeshots around the defencer work most of the time). He will get outmuscled when on a 1 on 1 with VVD or Gullit, but who wouldn´t. Great stamina. Haven´t scored a header, but crossing isn´t a part of my game at all.

Overall I think he is on a level with players like R9, Eusebio and the rather expensiv other icons. I don´t know in which aspect of the game Dalglish has a weakness besides not having 5* skills. Hands down a 10/10 player and EA did him justice for dominating in his prime at LFC.

In the end I want to say, don´t let the game ruin your mood. Especially the weekendleague can be frustrating at times, but it just isn´t worth it to let the game ruin your weekend. I stopped at 8/11 or 14 wins the last months although I am normally able to finish on Elite 3. It just isn´t worth the grind for what you get out of it. Peace.

My honest review of prime Kenny Dalglish. To say I wasn’t impressed by this man would be a complete lie, but I expected him to be great before I purchased the card for 2.7mil simply because I had used his baby card in draft so many times already and I assumed his prime could only be better. That being said….is he worth the coins?

The simple answer is yes, he does live up to his hefty price tag. When you use him in-game you can immediately feel how special he is. Whether its his responsive dribbling and nippy pace, or his positioning in the attack. He’s the complete package. I also absolutely love how he pops up in the right place at the right time constantly, I never got the feeling he went missing in games. However, his best attribute, and the main reason you should buy this card…. Is his shooting. My word is it good. He has some of the best shooting I’ve ever experienced in FIFA. He is so clinical in front of goal and quickly became someone I could rely on when it was crunch time. His shot has so much power behind it that it just seems to beat the keeper every time, and his 5-star weak foot means he can score in every which way possible. He scored so many important goals for me in weekend league that it made me question if I could even survive without him in the team.

After giving it some thought though, I think I would be just fine without prime Kenny in my team. Only because I would use his baby card instead. The 87 Dalglish has that same special something that his prime does and is way better value for coins. Yes, his passing isn’t as good as the prime, and he’s a little slower in general. However, paying an extra 1.2mil for a slight upgrade just isn’t worth it for me when the baby still possesses the same qualities that matter most.

Got insanely lucky to find this guy in my prime icon pack. Safe to say: this is the best card I have used in this, or any, FIFA. Deploying Kenny up front for the first time this weekend league, he scored 24 goals in his first 10 matches and assisted another 5. You read that right, and I'm a terrible player. I still finished Gold 3. His positioning and pace are insane. I don't know what it is, but he FEELS faster on the ball than players with even more ridiculous pace/agility stats. I slapped a Hawk on him to boost his strength and max out his shooting. This man is like a cheat code.

All this is to say: Don't be like me and waste 9 icon swaps tokens on a prime icon pack and end up getting Lampard or whatever. Kenny's mid icon card for 16 tokens has only sliiightly lower stats and, if you're a better player than me (you are), it'll change your game.

So i decided to buy and try this guy because whenever he played against me, he was always a pain in the a**. So i decided to try him playing the 4-2-2 (2) formation, using him as a ST along with prime Kaka. The first 2 games he wasn't being that fantastic, i had been playing with Shapeshifter Ben Yedder and he had had a really great performance, scoring 11 goals in 10 games, but i had been playing with the 4-2-3-1 with him, so i guess i just needed to play a little bit more with this new formation.

In the 3rd game that when he really appeared. OMG what the hell, he has a pair of shotguns, those are not legs. He literally scores everything he shoots, he is amazing, i can't really describe him with words, you have to try him and you'll know what im talking about.

He is kinda expensive at this point of the game (TOTSSF) but really is the perfect meta card. He is the best striker i have played with by far.

I'm always a gold 3 player, i'm not the best, but this weekend he got me to gold 1.

Mock my words, if you can buy him, just do it, you won't get dissapointed.

HE IS BEN YEDDER ON STEROIDS.

I was lucky enough to pack Kenny in my prime upgrade pack after grinding for weeks. When I saw the scottish flag I just lost it. I have used him in 6 games so far and won all 6 of them convincingly. Before I packed him I was struggling to win games in the division I was in but since I got him, I have managed to move up a division. I used a hawk chem style on him so he got 96 pace. He literally felt like he had 99 pace he was that quick. he runs through defences like they aren't even there. His shooting as well is 97 with a hawk with everything being 99 except for long shots (91). Every shot he takes in on target and the only way he doesn't score is if the keeper somehow manages to make an amazing save. His dribbling as well is on another level compared to most players with 92 agility 90 balance and 91 ball control he just feels untackleable. No one can touch him. His passing isn't great but it is enough as he is not the playmaker, he is the one scoring absolute bangers after my fut birthday ozil gets the ball to him. His defending isn't great but that doesn't matter as he is a striker. He isn't the strongest player but feels strong enough and will often win the ball off a weaker defender. He will sometimes get pushed off by strong defenders if he isn't already in behind them. He also has enough stamina to easily run out games. Overall a 10/10 for me.
