I played with pacy CB's for a while, trying yo fit the meta. however players like diallo, Joe Gomez and Hermoso all had the same problem, when getting close to the attackers, they would just stand there. Even when I pressed the tackle button, they would rarely get ball. This guy is different! he is not the fastest (even with shadow) but he more than makes up for it, by always marking closely, and being extremly good at standing tackles even without me pressing anything, when the striker gets close to him, he takes the ball! For me it was also very important Thiago Silva can pass the ball out from the back, to not get run over by high pressure teams.

Defending! 99 interseptions, 99 marking and 95 standing and 99 sliding tackle! (with shadow)
Dribling - his composure is sooo good, and his agility feels a lot better than 67.
Passing - 82 long and short passing, he will always make a safe, precise pass clearing it out of the backline.
Links - brazil, PSG. need I say more? Marquinhos is also a beast!

Pace - this is really the only downside I see to him. If you pair him with a faster CB or have a deep standing defence it really don't matter.

He intercepted De Gea's fax

He is not the fastest, it's true. But he can intercept any ball that comes his way. If he tackles, he gets the ball. He is really good in the air. He has a perfect link with Marquinhos and links with some of the best left backs in the game such as the Alex's (Sandro for more defensive cover and for Serie A links, or Telles because he is the best LB in the game) or Marcelo. I have him with Marquinhos, Telles, and Aurier behind the wall that is Fabinho (Fernandinho was also impressive before I packed an untradeable Fabinho) with Alisson between the sticks.

Reactions should be better for a 60k CB (83 is good but should be higher than 85 for the price)
Pace isn't the best but I think it's good enough especially because he can intercept the through balls instead of running after them
