ok boys. James has been absolutely unusable for like the past 2 fifas i think. Ea blessed us with this scream card and let me just bless ur future cam positions. I had this absolute trash draft..I'm talking ousmane dembele is like a star on it. James Rodriguez scream card guides me to a draft victory and this guy is just mental. He feels as fast as like sergio aguero. If you get him and slap a hawk or hunter on him I swear he will atleast be Sonaldo speed. But what really stands out on his card is his absolutely mentalllll af shooting. This man pullls tf up. He's basically American Sniper Chris kyle but the columbian version. He absolutely bullets them top bins its insane. His dribbling feels amazing too and he sends some prime xavi iniesta passses as well. He doesn't feel super weak either. The only con I could really find is that gross 2 star weak foot. But I mean its not a big deal if you know how to use people with low weak foot trait. Insane player. Worth checking out

James the GOAT

James' gold card is TERRIBLE. And that was a shame because usually during the FIFA calendar I try out James for a period of time, but that card looked unusable and I was quick to turn toward the other classic <100k cams. But when I saw this card, I sold half my team just to get him. This James Rodriguez card is one of his best for YEARS now, with 80 stats across the board bar defending. I am playing him in CAM, although can work as CM as well, with a hawk. Now, this card comes at a very steep price tag, but if you can look past this, he is well well worth it.

Firstly, his physicality is IMMENSE. He isn't the paciest guy around, but his strength is incredible and doesn't need 90 pace. That strength means that he also is a brilliant ball-winner. He pushes opponents off of the ball and can start counter-attacks with a killer through ball. He connects the defence and attack like glue. He gets lots of touches per game, and has a rocket of a left-foot, although the 2 star weak foot can be painful if you can't put it onto his left. But there is not much this card can't do.

Very very very average

When I saw he was coming out, I was very hyped. James was like a go to card for me. I played and did SBC's and with a bit of luck I got him. Then I put him in a team. Fekir was there first, but because James has such good shooting and passing, I thought, well let's go!

I played 10 games with him, and he scored me 2 goals and 0 assists.

The problem I had with James was that he always came in from the right. I don't know how, I don't know why, but he always came in from the right. He didn't play as a CAM. I checked my tactics multiple times and I can confirm: He did not play from the right. This let to the phenomenon that I had a RW and a RM/RCM. I had no CAM. Every pass I gave was a little weak. Before he got this upgrade, he was amazing at dribbling. Now he just feels very average. His shots were also not that good, because he was a RW/RM/RCM most of the time, he couldn't get forward. He was a lot stronger, but that was also a bad thing in my opinion. His normal card, which I used for 30 games, felt more natural. When he got a push, he wouldn't fall but got a bit unbalanced. This card just stood there, blocked the game and then fall over, more than 5 times a game. Which is realy annoying, because the AI doesn't know what to do. Sometimes it would take 2 minutes ( in game time ) to progress. Which is very annoying.

BUT:

His stamina is very good. He wasn't tired after 30 minutes. He has a very very very good passing accuracy, but still weak. He is a lot quicker, although I don't think it is very needed. He was an amazing dribbler on the game before hand, now he is just a little meh. Because his dribbeling isn't +30 anymore.
