Well it is hard to describe my happiness when i saw this objective on Friday. Dzeko started his career in the club I support (FK Zeljeznicar) and he is a true living legend over here in Bosnia. Unfortunately his cards were only SBC fodders in the past years even when he got multiple informs. This card however is something else. With a pace upgrade he turned into an absolute beast.

The grind started the moment i saw that card. I used my first owner Serie A squad to get the objectives and with the help of Lukaku who fits into all requirements i soon got everything done. Once he was in my squad it was time to test him out. I started up a squad battle match againts legendary AI and with his first touch of the ball he scored an absolute rocket from outside the box using his left foot (5*WF baby). If you want to see the goal just search up dzeko vs tottenham 4 goals... the last one. He scored two more (one was a header from a cross, something that nobody else apparently can do in this game and the other one was an off balance shot while turning arond from 14-15 meters) and provided one assist, all of that before the 30 minute mark of the game. I was absolutely ecstatic.

After that fun experience in squad battles it was time for some rivals. First game he just annihilated the opponents defence and scored.. the opponent quit immediately, shame because his GPG could have been higher. Second game i did lose to a very good meta squad (mostly because my squad is very weak - first owner :D) however dzeko scored a hattrick and again, one was a header from a cross. Finally the last game he scored 2 goals and got me the win.

He is an absolute game changer for me, a perfect target man and a complete striker. I do not skill too much in this game so 2* skill moves don't bother me at all. His strength on the ball is amazing and the shooting is absolutely deadly, last time i was so impressed is when i used prime Eusebio in FUT draft last year. Just point him towards the goal and shoot, chances are it will go in.

On top of all this, this is a FREE first owner card from a top 5 league, it will be a very useful card in future first owner challenges. Obviously his value for money is amazing :D

Do not sleep on this card and do the challenges while you still can, you get some free packs and HUNTER to put on Dzeko.

This guy is a unit up top with a hunter on, especially considering how easy the objectives were, he tends to mow my opponents over, even muriel has a decent record with him up top and hes not exactly any good. he can be used as a target man or with the hunter on he still gets in behind most defences and with 94 composure he simply cannot be stopped. Take my review with a pinch of salt i'm only in division 9.

Where to start

This guy is an absolut beast. the challenges needed some time but for a free player he is really good.

His finishing with both feet is perfect every shot with R1+O is a goal. perfect striker for players who use their wingers or CAM's to get in behind.

His power and height keeps most defenders away from the ball. His ball control is very good. He is not a high speed dribbler like Mertens or Dybala but if you combine them they are very clinical.

I use him with custom tactics Aggresive interceptions to boost his lack of aggresion a bit and with the hunter chem style.

Don't do the challenges if you want a fast agile player. His speed is especially for his height very good but i use him as a point of contact in the middle, fast cam's to get in behind and give the ball back add the box. R1 or L2 and he bangs them in.

Looking forward to use him in the weekend league

Best serie A striker without a doubt (CR7 not included 1.6m...)

As you can see by my team, he is not hard to link (please don’t judge I know my team is weird haha)

he is amazing in game and can score from just about anywhere, the only striker I’ve used that can consistently score headed goals and he is surprisingly good on the dribble.

he’s a classic target man which fits my “old school” style of Fifa playing, however I could see how some people would not be able to use him as they require players with amazing dribbling and skill moves.

overall considering he was free, he is the best striker I’ve used this game hands down and he is always consistent.

Only issue is stamina but he can last a game if you don’t force runs with him.
