I remember using Politano's gold card in the very start of this FUT. I enjoyed how he moved with the ball, but his gold card lacked the key stats of a winger. This upgrade gave him exactly what his card needed to shine.

I'm using him mostly as a super sub, and he is pretty much the best sub I have. His pace, agility, shooting, passing with a 4* Combo make him a great player to cover both RW and CAM.

His phisical stats are low, however he doesnt feel that squishy holding the ball, a high balance will help him running against defenders.

As an Italian right winger, he may be hard to link, speacially on hybrid squads, since Internazionale, and Calcio A, dont have a decent RB and/or CM with a strong link with him. You will run short with options such as Insigne/Allan, Mertens/Nainggolan or an Icon Pirlo.

As starter, his stamina is certainly a plus, since he can last an entire match.\

Similar players: Ousmane Dembele - Politano is more "technical" while keeping pace and dribbling.

Dybala - As CAM, Politano can be as technical as Dybala, but pacey and a little less predictable with his 4* combo.

HE IS WORTH DOING. Set your team name to freewin4politan, use all strikers, and aim for 14 goals. It took me around 2 hours to get this card which is well worth, and from the packs I also got mertens.

I have only played a handful of games with him but so far he is the best player I have used this fifa. He is unreal. I use him as RAM in a 4-2-3-1 on free roam with Insigne, Mertens, and Costa. I'll break down his attributes in detail:

Pace:

Electric. Not much more to say. His agility makes him feel even faster than 91 pace and 91 is well enough already.

Shooting:

Cut inside, rb + b and you've scored. He has the best longshots of anyone I've used this fifa, and maybe any fifa, it's incredible. He can cut inside and finesse, or drive the ball across the keeper from the left. His shot power is immense, and his finishing is tidy. Shooting feels clean with either foot. He is dangerous from anywhere withing 30 yards and brings me back to the finesse meta of fifa 19.

Passing:

I almost never realize when a player has slightly better passing, and I don't notice it with him. However, I haven't noticed anything poor either. His passing stats reflect how he is in game.

Dribbling:

I use this guy with Insigne, Mertens, and Costa, and yet he still manages to feel the most agile and best on the ball of the 4 of them. He is so good at weaving through players, and 4* skills is really all you need. You can switch the ball to his left foot for a shot so quickly, and his turns are the cleanest out of anyone I've used this year.

Defending:

I really don't do much defending with him so I don't have much to say, but he gets back well which is good enough for a winger.

Physical:

He is weak, but with his agility. balance, and speed you usually can avoid contact fairly easily. The only other important physical stat this year is stamina, and he has got loads of it. He can play 90 minutes back to back games and still be fine at the end.

In Conclusion, he is more than worth the grind and dropping a division in rivals. The best player I've used this year period. The stats don't even do him justice as a few of those have been quits. The guy is unreal.

Not that many people use him as a striker, but damn... he's so good at it!

I play him next to my OTW Ben Yedder, these 2 are deadly in attack.

His pace and dribbling are good enough as standard so I've put deadeye on him.

In the box he will score almost every shot (even weak foot) and from outside just finesse it in the top corner and you wil sceam every worldy he scores.

He surprises you every single game, cutting past defenders or scoring the most insane goals.

Passing is good too, I play KDB as CAM but if I didn't have him I would use Politano because the longshots are so good too.

tthis guy is stupidly good! Played him as a left striker next to insigne, and hes scored every single game i´ve played with him. he definetly is worth the grund, and will probably take you 2 - 3 hours to complete

Woa what a goal machine he is, he will score inside or outside the box with no problem. He also have a great passing wich allows him to play at CAM too but i think he most shine as a ST on a 442 formation asidde a strong man like Totgs Lautaro or Totgs Lewa. 10% worth the grind.
