I was lucky enough to get CR7 in my player picks. i haven't played with his normal gold card yet so i can't say if he's worth the extra 700k but let me tell you CR7 is the definition of the perfect forward. i play him in a 451 and switch in game to a 4222. I played him at striker as i found he performs better in this position and used an Engine chem style on him and partnered him up with Mbappe and these two go better together then peanut butter and jelly. he's scored 28 goals and 11 assists in 14 matches so far during champs.
Ronaldo is rapid especially with the fake shot speed boosts, his runs in behind and amazing and he always seems to be in the right place at the right time. he's also strong enough the hold off the toughest of defenders and is clinical inside and outside the box even when under pressure. his stamina wasn't a problem for me and his play making was surprisingly good. his best attribute is his shooting obviously. its the best i've seen in this game, he is deadly on both feet. No matter where he is he always finds the back of the net, even when the keeper gets a hand to it and his finesse shots from outside the box are superb.
He doesn't feel as fluid as the likes of Hazard, Neymar or Messi. People also tend to man mark him in game which may make it difficult to get him involved but i found it helpful if i just played normally with my other players and waited for Ronaldo to find space or get in behind. I also don't know if theres much of a difference between his normal card and this one to justify the 700k+ upgrade.
Well i'm not the greatest of fifa players (I'm terrible), I normally finish between gold 3 and gold 2 depending on whether Lucas Moura scores a header against my RTTF Eder Militao...
I thought to myself that I need to up my game. SO with my icon swap Butragueno and CR7 we went out to smash the weekend league.
This guy keeps the ball at his feet no matter whos tackling him, hes strong, wuick, not as clunky as I expected on ooooohhh my he can smash a ball in the back of the net.
Pace 10/10 Steamed past Semedos, Mendys, Robertsons, Mbabus no problem at all.
Dribbling 10/10 I have heard a lot of negatives about cr7s agility and movement on/ off the ball. LB/L1 dribbling was amazing, super glued that ball to his feet. He doesnt turn as quick as a Messi or a Neymar on the ball but its definitely not far off.
Shooting 10/10 stats for the weekend 32 games 71 goals 18 assists. I have never scored so many goals in a weekend (plus two warm up games Div rivals, Div 3). Finesse shots all went on target. Regular shot power was fantastic. I cannot comment on his headers though as I rarely cross the ball.
Physical 10/10 HENCH
In a striker roll he is the complete package. I cannot fault him. works well alongside a smaller more agile attacker, I used Butragueno for this and sometimes flashback David Villa.
Price. Not everyone is going to be able to afford him. I paid £1560000
Chemistry. There isn't the greatest selection of players in the league with him, especially LB as Alex Sandro was garbage for me. I play him on 7 chemistry.
Basically I was trading card and I sniped him for somewhat a low price, my intention wasn't to buy him really to play with him as I am saving for 91 Ronaldinho, however I said let's give this guy a try, I have a normal german 1 team that doesn't exceed 30K, I put him in as a substitute as a cam, first I tried him as a LW but I couldn't get much chances to him as I am used to play on the RW, so I put him as a CAM and guess what, this guy is fucking insane, I can't believe his performance, every clear shot it's a goal, every finesse is a goal, every header is a goal, his runs are insane always runs behind the defense with opened passing lanes (Tactics on default) I was impressed how he did as a CAM even tho he is a LW, every free kick is a goal as well, everytime they try to bounce him off ball the ball gets back to him it's really funny, he was a nightmare for my opponents (5 wins in a row in rivals only because of him) 8 goals in 5 matches, it was insane for me..
I'd say he's one of the best cards in the game and I am going to play with him and dinho together, I am sure I will own the PITCH.
You could just dribble two or three and score man, this card is the only card you need.

Hard to link him, as ITA 1 wingers are bad IMO (playing him as a ST or CAM)
I was very lucky and got Ronaldo in an 86+ upgrade in around November. He has carried me all year and I thought that I should review him to tell you if he is worth 800k. I have used him as a lone striker and in a strike partnership in a 4-4-2. I find him to be better with a playmaker around him to help create chances for him.
Pace- He has 91 pace and with an engine he has 96 pace and in game he feels rapid and once he is past a defender he usually isn't caught. 8.5/10
Shooting- He has 94 shooting and in game he has an insane shot, I have scored 752 goals in 810 games and he had a positive record until around 600 games. His finishing is insane inside the box he can shoot with any technique and usually buries the ball in the net, his weak foot is usually good but sometimes he misses some shots you would expect to score but his finishing is generally great. He has 96 shot power and it really helps with his near post shots. 9/10
Passing- He has 89 passing with an engine and his passing is very good for me, with the engine chem style he has 90 short passing and 88 long passing which means most times he will find the player you want to pass it too. His curve is 82 but he has scored some great finesse shots which make me think that his curve is better than it says. His free kick accuracy goes to 87 from 77 and his free kicks are okay but not amazing. 7/10
Physicality- He has 97 jumping which is useful to win headers against defenders, but unfortunately headers in this game are awful so it is only useful if you want to pass the ball. He has 87 stamina which means he lasts the whole game and can finish extra time which is obviously very good. His Strength and Aggression combination aren't the best with him having 80 strength and 64 aggression but because of his stock in game he is quite hard to push off the ball. 7/10
Dribbling- He has 90 dribbling, but the two main stats in the dribbling category, (Agility and Balance) are 87 and 71. With the engine chemistry style he has 92 agility and 81 balance.
He feels decent on the ball but performing skills with him aren't anywhere as smooth as a Neymar or a Messi. Sometimes he is easy to read as he can't turn very well. At striker his dribbling is good enough but if you were buying him you would want the agility and balance to be higher. However, he does have 5 star skills which is a great bonus for the card to have! 6/10
Defending- He can win the ball sometimes but defending doesn't really matter for a striker so I will give him a 4/10.
Much like the other dude who left a bad review i cannot believe i am here writing this but i have to let others know so they can save their coins. So before all the fan boys get upset IRL i love Rolando, my favorite player to watch over the years and in FIFA he has always stood out to be an exceptional player in the past.
I got this card untradable and i thought 'WOW this is my FIFA 20 UT made for the year!'
Man i was wrong.
Whilst he has that awesome animation ingame and he does feel better than the average player he does not feel anywhere near as good as last year and furthermore not even that good when compared to
Neymar, Messi, Figo (any version), Dybala, Ronaldinho and so on.
I compare him ingame to someone like De Bruyne in terms of feel, he's good just not that Meta and not that OP

STRENGTH - EA must have added a multiplier as he is weaker than Messi and Dybala without doubt (maybe linked to Balance but he shouldn't be knocked off the ball so easy)
Skill move practicality (i love using skills but often he's sluggish to pull them off compared to others even the likes of Cuadrado are at skilling)
