I am a Gold 2/ Gold 1, Div 3 Player. He played the last 5 games of weekend league (gold 1 finish, and div 3 rivals matches at 1500 SR)

So i am a huge Arsenal fan, and after the invincibles season, i fell in love with Fabregas. He was the reason, apart from Henry, Vieira and that gang that i even began to love Arsenal more than i did. A young spanish player who fought for the shirt, great passing, dribling, leadership and all that. So when he received a Flashback card, i had to do it.

And i even run a Spanish/La Liga side, having already done David Villa End of Era and Player Moments Morales, aswell as having Guardiola in the side.

130k, not that pricey, but not that cheap. Used a couple of untradeables, so the price was prob around 100k for me. Which was fine.

He replaced De Jong 85 for me and i had concerns about if he would fill the defensive duties aswell as De Jong (who was outstanding for me) with his low stand tackle, aggression and interceptions) He played CDM for me, with stay back while attacking, cut passing lanes and cover center.

Offensively: Outstanding, great on the ball, amazing passing all over the pitch, you really feel the composure he has on the ball with defenders close to him, good strength to hold off opposition players trying to get the ball of him, quick turns and once you get him around the oppositions box, try to play that cheeky through ball in tight areas and he will put it on a plate for the strikers. Aswell as amazing long passing, switching the play from one side to the other. And he always seems to be around the ball and in the right areas when you build up play.

Defensively: Really surprising he is actually quite good, yes he is not flying around the pitch making interceptions, and winning every stand tackle he makes, but with a shadow he a really quick and is able to get to the one side of the pitch to the other quite quickly, which is great when you need to close down areas. With his strength being 89, he does win a lot of battles against attackers, wingers and midfielders, and he has that ball control and composure to make sure he keeps the ball after the scuffle. I did not notice his Medium defensive workrates, he stayed back when he should and did not push forward when you should not with the instructions i have on him.

I would say he is a clear upgrade to a De Jong or a Moussa Sissoko, as long as you play him with an out and out defensive midfielder next to him. He will be fine, and is a great complement because of his quality on the ball.

I did not notice his stamina being low, never subbed him out in any game.

All in all, i would recommend this card is you are a passing/possession player, who likes to build up play and create chances through good offensive style of fifa and dont rely on Ai defending, and dont use drop back.

fabregas. What a player i use him central cam in a 4-2-3-1 formation and he is amazing. He has the best passing and dribbling of any player i had before i thought the season objective zaha was good at dribbling but he is no where near the level on cesc. His 3 star skills arent a problem and his 3 star weak foot feels like a 4 star. with a hunter on him he feels rapid and his shooting is surprisingly good.

Central classic midfield. When I did DME I imagined having a versatile player, both defensively and offensively. But not!

Fabregas 88 is not a play definer. Not the last pass.

He is neither a good defender nor agile enough.

It's a little off in defense, so don't expect a strong marking.

I like a dribbling midfielder who can create spaces and carry the ball into the offense. And Fabregas 88 is reasonable in function.

Fabregas is a reasonable player, which means he is definitely not good at any of the midfielder roles.

It can be useful in linking to a hybrid La Liga and League One team. Nothing an ICON doesn't do.

If you are the owner, I think it is the first substitution option, whether for a more agile midfielder or a stronger marking.
