92 - CL TOTT
4.5
Lewangoalski

I used this card as an upgrade over his 91 card for this weekend league, I'd say there are improvements but if there are other places in your team you want to fill it may not be worth it. With that being said, this card bangs in goals and has potential to be used in multiple different ways: it's all about the chem style. I'd use either hunter or hawk as the base boost for him makes him able to beat defenders with his dribble if the center backs aren't 80+ pace. Hunter turns him into a god imo, but the physical boost from hawk makes him a beast(bought as a hawk played 10 games in FUT champs 7-3). In total I did end up keeping that pace and finished gold 1(I'm normally around gold 2 or 3 depending on how much I want to play). I did end up selling so I won't be able to verify the stats, but I have been adding all my Lewa cards return through the year.

The card is tremendous when it comes to shooting, I felt as though his base card was the best shooter at the start of the game and each upgrade has made him more potent. His passing, strength and dribbling makes him great in build up, if you like using your strikers in your build up you'll enjoy him for sure. By far his best feeling card in game, especially with a hunter(91 accel and 91 ss) which makes him a danger to make runs but also means his first time finishing off his runs are as good as most normal shot.

The price isn't too high for the quality of the card, but rather the problem is Lewandowski himself. He's going to get more informs and player of the months, special cards in general(He deserves a TOTY but he won't be voted in ahead of Mbappe, Ronaldo, Messi or Mane so don't expect that). This means the price of this card could be 150k in 2 weeks(which is why I sold). If you plan on simply trying to pace abuse this isn't your card even with a hunter. Stamina isn't the best, but you'll maybe notice it once every 10 games towards the end of the match.

Pure Striker Lewangoalski
By emerson7, 16-12-2019

At first, I was skeptical of having a striker in Fifa 20 with only 81 pace and 81 agility however Lewandowski's TOTGS card quickly dispelled every doubt I had. Now I'd be lying if I said it didn't take some getting used to. I've always (like everyone else and their grandmother) sought out strikers with high pace and agility like Lucas Moura or Timo Werner's inform. Switching it up to Lewandoski was a great refresh in my gameplay. With an engine chem style, his pace is surprisingly good. he can't beat the quicker defenders off the dribble, but if you play him through the 86 sprint speed is more than enough to outrun most centerbacks. The slightly low agility is definitely noticeable, but if you take the time to adjust your playstyle Lewa can really be a great addition to any squad. I played him up top in a 4-2-3-1 and put his tactics to *stay forward* and *false 9* Now I know false 9 seems very strange but Lewa doesn't have the pace to play *get in behind* so I tried something new and let me tell you...the pairing of him coming into the midfield and Reus running beyond him is lethal. They both have very good short passing and vision along with very well-rounded shooting which makes them a perfect fit for a false 9 striker and stay forward CAM. The physical can be a little inconsistent at times. Sometimes he is impossible to knock off the ball and other times little fullbacks or midfielders will just swipe the ball easily. I think this is more a comment on the game rather than Lewandowski's card. So, if you want a good hold-up striker I wouldn't look any further than Lewa.

As far as value for money he is great. I think for the no-money-spent players 240K is a bit much to ask however, he's bound to get a new inform and his price will drop drastically so if you can get him now then get him then. Also compared to Werner's inform I think the extra 40K is very worth it and I prefer Lewa to Werner.

In terms of game-changing, it doesn't get much better than Lewa. Before I bought him I had Werner's infrom and he was surprisingly underwhelming not even breaking a goal per game. I bought Lewa and after a short adjustment period he startied getting hatricks nearly every game. He would singlehandedly win me games and that isn't an over statement.

I reccomend Him for absolutely anyone who can fit them into their squad.

  • Pace
  • good enough to chase in through balls
  • Shooting
  • all-around amazing
  • his insanely high positioning (97) always puts him in the right place for the low crosses or jammy rebound goals
  • long shots are great
  • finesse shots (has finesse shot trait)
  • finishing in the box is unmatched
  • basically if has any space at all within 30 yards or so he'll score
  • Passing
  • very good short pass and vision and makes him very good at playing that last cross-box pass when needed
  • Dribbling
  • composure is amazing and he rarely misses an open goal
  • dribbling and ball control is great and makes his L1/LB dribbling very good
  • very good technical dribbler and can create space with skill moves
  • Physical
  • great strength, aggression, and heading accuracy
  • he has scored a few headers off corners and lob crosses which really says something given this year's heading
  • Skill Moves/Weak Foot
  • 4*/4* combo is great
  • Pace
  • not break-away levels of pace
  • Dribbling
  • Agility isn't elite which makes him unable to weave through defenders or a cluttered box
  • Physical
  • inconsistent and can get knocked off the ball stupidly sometimes

Game Changer

I'll start by saying that each year I start my FUT journey to getting Lewandowski, he's the perfect ST for my playstyle. I play a 4-4-1-1 or a 4-2-3-1 depending how the game flows but suffice to say I always use Lewa as a lone ST so this review will be coming from that perspective. I can't speak to how he performs in a system that utilizes two ST but he's not going to be the type of player to chase down spammy through balls. Even with the upgrades to pace, Lewa simply isn't the kind of player to use "get in behind" you'll need to set him to "target man" or "false 9" in the instructions tab. Personally, I use him as a target man with Hawk chemstyle. He's already got great physicals but the bump in physicality + pace is nuts (98 jumping, 93 strength, 86/86 accel. speed). We all know heading is a joke in this game but I've found that the short, sort of lob crosses from fairly close range, can have success.

I pair Lewa at ST with Eden Hazard at CAM and with Lewa holding up the ball and Hazard's runs beyond him it's simply lethal. Whether you use the close range lob cross or a simple cutback pass to Lewa, if you can get the ball to Lewa's feet, it's a goal simple as that. As of this writing, Lewa's got 62 goals and 20 assists in 57 games, all in Div 5 Rivals and WL. The one drawback to Lewa's game is the relatively low agility (81) so he's not the quickest to turn but he's got excellent ball control and dribbling to make up for that (as well as 4*/4*).

  • Clinical in front of goal with either foot - I genuinely feel like his WF could be 5* adding a layer of unpredictability you won't find in many other elite-tier ST
  • Combination of holdup play, physicality, pace (with chemstyle) and in particular SHOOTING is unmatched
  • 4*/4*
  • Incredible positioning play to get on the end of rebounds or find the sliver of space against the drop back teams
  • Links - I run a Bayern hybrid so it's easier for me but I'd suggest getting the POTM Gnabry or Scream Muller to fit Lewa in. You won't regret building around him
  • Pace/agility if you're that type of player. You can add an Engine chemstyle to get his dribbling to near-elite but you'll still be missing the elite pace. Don't try to fit a square peg in a round hole

Robert Lewandowski (Prime Rush?)
By eXTane12, 10-12-2019

When I saw him, I thought that I have my prime Rush. I have mid Rush, he is unbelivable, but he is clumsy sometimes, when he has the ball. Lewandowski has great dribbling skills, 4* skill and fantastic shooting. When he shoots he scores. I played him with shadow chemistry, because pace is the key in this year. He could score headers too.

Great choice for a 2 striker team, he is the strongest one (I have baby Butra for the speedster one).

He is way cheaper than Rush, but better.

Picked him up for 70k, new to FIFA, don't have the best team, wanted to try him out as his card looked very good for the price, and that was not a lie, he has been exceptional for my team, makes good runs, send the ball flying into the net, and executes every chance he gets. He is a BARGAIN!
