In a game where usable La Liga LM/LW/LF are few and far between, Guedes was a welcome choice for Futmas for someone like myself who was rocking a La Liga based hybrid at the time. At face value this is a great card. Quick, agile, lethal in front of goal. In the first game I used this card, he walked onto one at the edge of the area on his right foot and hit a drilled finesse past ter stegen from a near impossible angle. I immediately though I had a god tier futmas card. Over the next 15/20 games, this card has become more and more on the edge of opinion.

The issue I have with this card is that there are 2 chemistry style requirements to fulfil the potential of this card are very polarising. This card feels like it needs a Deadeye and a Sniper in order to really use it competitively. The sacrifice on either dribbling or passing you will feel whichever one you go with, so you need to know what you are hoping to get out of Guedes when you use this card.

Overall Guedes cost circa 40k to complete. Is this good value? Yes. I enjoyed using this card way more than I did Hazard. This guy can hit a ball alright. Is he going to be in the team come February? Unlikely. Can you use him in rivals? Yes, but probably not in the top tier divisions, I found him fine up until div. 3. If you have the squad to carry him for moments of brilliance, crack on. Otherwise it might be time to pray EA release Vinicius in the la liga SBC, which appears to be lost in the mail.

SBC represented good value for money in a position within a league that has limited options.
Good upgrade on gold card.

Passing is poor against the quality of full back that is on the game now.
Without a deadeye or chemistry style to improve finishing, this guy will let you down in front of goal.
