First of all, this card wasn't that difficult to obtain. Just like icon swaps, you will come up against players using their sweat team, and unless you have (or intend to buy) a good spanish team you'll find the same problems as always.

I'm going to start by talking about his utility. I did him the second he came out because I'm sick of using Guardiola just to fit Villa into my squad. Even if you don't have Villa, this card is still top tier and is easy to link with any Spanish team or the many Spanish icons and definitely worth it, even if its just for SBC fodder.

Pace:

It is what it is. Not slow by any means but if playing in a formation that the CAM overlaps your Strikers he will be outpaced and caught up by most Centerbacks. However for beating a man and lining up a good through ball, his pace is just fine. Of course you could slap a hunter on him if you really want to counter this.

Shooting:

Underwhelming. If you were lucky enough to see Iniesta play, you would know that he definitely had some shot on him. The choice to give his card less shooting than Dele Ali or Futmas Sanches was a strange decision no doubt. Apart from attacking positioning, his shooting stats and pretty average, of course at times they'll feel better than they seem just purely base on how he can find space for himself with his dribbling.

Passing:

Pretty self explanatory. You most likely won't be crossing with him, ignore that stat. Freekick accuracy is a shame but not the worst, just don't take them with him if you have someone with higher stats. Curve, isn't low by any means and doesn't affect his passing in the slightest. The rest is self explanatory, this man could thread a grapefruit through Ant-Mans butthole, passing masterclass.

Dribbling:

With an Engine chem style, his lowest stat is 92. With his 4 star skill moves he can get space whenever he wants and get around opponents with absolute ease. Interestingly the most impressive/ noticeable stat is his composure at 98. If you get around you opponents CDM and the player comes back intent on committing a war crime from behind, Iniesta very rarely loses the ball or puts in a bad pass from the pressure, which in this game, is a god send. Being 5'7 he ghosts past defenders like its nothing with boosted agility.

Defending:

Surprisingly, not unimpressed. as we'll get onto with the next segment, he has nowhere near enough stamina to play as a box to box CM. If controlled, you can easily get a tackle in with him although if I could change one thing about this card, it would be exchanging some of his defending stats into his shooting stats. Most of the time, these will go to waste.

Physical:

I think this will be the decision factor as to whether people will be bothered to attempt to complete this card. Many people will say to just use him as a sub, but I recommend the opposite. Despite 74 stamina, if left at CAM (stay forward) you won't need to take him off until late 70' minute, and you won't want to. He is undoubtedly an impact player and helps in the build up for goals instantly, you won't want him on the pitch for less than half of the game and so bringing him on for the last 10/20 is not enough to fully utilise him. Every other stat in this category is average for a CAM I feel.

Summary:

Do this card. Even if you aren't sure about him, or you want to use your time to grind icon swaps, he's performed better than most icons I've been fortunate enough to use. If you don't have Villa don't worry, there's a good chance he'll be re-released soon. If he isn't, you'll still have a great time using this card no matter how you fit him into your team.

Prime Icon Iniesta is the best passer of the ball in any fifa i have ever played. He makes 50 yard curling passes over or around players like van dijk or rio easily. he is redicusally good at dribbling on par with potm messi. he can also shhot and is always in the right place.
