Ignore the EA hate, this guy's a GOD
By Ozymandias3148, 16-01-2020

I had heard leaks about an upcoming La Liga SBC so ended up buying like 100 Alena and Firpos at 2k and selling em for 5k, so basically did this sbc for free plus profit. Regardless, this Hernandez card carries a hefty a price-tag. But after playing 10 games, 7 starting, 3 subbed, I can safely say this guy feels so so good in game. With a marksman chem he clocks in at 95 pace, 94 shot and 90 dribbling. His strength mixed with agility is excellent and is very hard to take the ball from when dribbling technically. He makes for an excellent partner for my Futmas Williams. Anyone who runs a La Liga team like myself should not sleep on this guy as in my opinion he is literally the best striker in the league. He lacks any shooting traits or curve so my recommendation when finishing is low driven or cutting to the inside post and going all power top net bby. Overall feels like a cheap Mbappe without skills.

-Mbappe-esque pace

-Excellent finishing

-Dribbling feels immense with any dribbling chemstyle

-strength for a small, agile guy

-Passing does the job for tidy 1'2's etc.

-no 4* sm

-outside of box finesse shots, low curve

-price, although thats subjective

Don't Judge A Hernandez By It's Cover
By RedMamba, 16-01-2020

After investing in la liga players in October for the league SBC, I found myself raging repeatedly at the EA twitter page waiting for this SBC to be released. Finally the day came yesterday and I was particularly underwhelmed by the choice of player at the outset. I had been hoping for a Vinicius Jnr. to be one of the player pick rewards, however that was not to be. High defensive work rate of Cordoba made Hernandez the obvious choice.

Like a lot of other la liga strikers this season, they have all been very good in some areas. Futmas Inaki for pace, Moments Morales for dribbling & POTM Suarez for finishing. However on use so far, Hernandez feels well rounded. His finishing is tidy, his dribbling is fine and certainly feels comparable with a 4* skill player, pace is electric and does not need boosting and if a Marksman card is applied there is a notable physical boost.

I had been playing this player in a 4-2--3-1 with get in behind. Messi, Modric and Perisic in behind all on full chem, meaning through balls and service is not an issue. Have to say was really impressed. For an 85r card in January, this was certainly one of the better ones. Accelerates away from defenders for fun, good with chip shots and drives across keepers, curve is a bit low, but overall not an issue. Composure is the one stat I wish was slightly higher, but overall this card is fun to use.

Is this card worth the 250k required to complete the league sbc? Probably not. But Hernandez is meta, fun, fast and filthy in the box. If you can get some good returns in the packs then you could have a very tidy payer for good value.

  • Acceleration - Insane breaks away from defenders.
  • Agility / Balance / Reactions - All high and noticeably strong in game.
  • Finishing & Positioning - lethal. Should have got this guy to finish Game of Thrones.
  • Expensive SBC that will only really represent value if you can pack something really good, from below value packs for the level of investment required - although if you can hold the trigger, open on Headliners Friday and you might have some luck!
  • Composure is a little low.

Most underrated player in Fifa 20
By wessies, 01-05-2020

I have tried many players in Fifa, but this guy is something special. Overlooked by many and ignored by all. But i'll tell ya, he is a beast. Strong, agile, balanced and great finishing.

  • Strength
  • Pace
  • Balance
  • Positioning ( just does his job and stays in place no matter what
  • Finishing
  • Skill moves
  • Consistency. I mean that not every single game he will perform like a god. Sometimes you have to force getting him into the game.

Cucho Hernandez my Boy
By marvinh07, 29-04-2020

As i first saw this card i knew right away that i got to complete the SBC. Not because his stats looked so nice (which they do) but because i love him as a player. I dont know if you can see my team but i always play him in a 2 striker partnership with futurestars joao felix because i sub off prime michael owen almost every game and sub cucho on. I play him with the chemstyle marksman and he is just soooo good, twice as good as Owen. Hes so fast, good at dribbling (he has only 3* skills tho but that doesnt matter) and id say 9 out of 10 (realistic) shots are in. He has played 70 gams for my club and scored 63 goals and assisted another 29 (always plays about only 25mins) in Weekend League and Rivals.

He barely cost me 50k because youll get many coins from the packs and for this price hes perfect. His actual card is 85 rated, which i dont know why because could be smth like 88/89 too. With marksman hes a 91 striker anyways. Playing with cards you actually like is much more fun than playing with a team full of french players or some meta ones, thats a reason too i completed him. Tbh i did not expect him to be like prime owen but he surprised. Like i said hes even twice as good.Im not saying Owen is bad, hes good too but JUAN CAMILO HERNANDEZ is better. Id suggest playing him in a two striker formation then hes so sick but i got to say i never really tried in front alone maybe hes good there too. One of the best tactics for him (actually every striker in fifa) is passing to the other striker (in my case joao felix) and he should pass between the cbs and cucho runs towards the goal alone. Then almost every shot is in.

He

price his price, hes fast, deadly in front of the goal and hes a very good dribbler, he has 4* wf in which i dont care about weakfoot because i alwys shoot with the preferred foot with every player, very very very underrated card imo

maybe that he only has 3* skills but there are many good skills for 3*

Hernandez Review
By Slinkkiln, 16-01-2020

Hernandez at the time i got him from the La Liga SBC for 250k (made 100k back from the sbc) he is a quick energetic striker who is very clinical at finishing at who is very talented at long shots and difficult angles.Their is not a lot of fast strikers in la liga whose an upgrade on Inaki Williams if that is your play style and Hernandez is the perfect upgrade.

Clinical in front of goal

Passing play is amazing

Can hold up the ball well

Very good dribbler

4 Star weak foot

Price maybe if you do not make money back

Heading

Height if you like a tall striker he inst it
