This SBC was a no brainer for me. I managed to do him for ~ 30k with some players i had untradeable in my club. I played about 7 matches in rivals Division 4 and all i can say this guy is totally worth it. I do not play weekeng league, so i probably won't test him there. I did a quick search and it seemes as of today, 21 January , there are no strikers that have 90+ shooting combined with 90+ physical other than mid and prime drogba and the TOTY cards.

Considering that this card is very very similar to prime Drogba which is about 1,8 m coins on Xbox, the value of this card is really really good.

The shot power and finishing on this card is absolutely insane, he scored in almost every match.

Hes a lethal finisher and can score from outside the box, Used in 4231 as a single striker with 2 pacey wingers he is really Icon-level target-man.

Yes you can say 7-8 matches are not enough for a review but my point is that you can do this card if you have a few players in your club. for 30-40k (like how i did him) it is worth it

Will he get you to elite 1 in WL ? NO !

Hey guys! This is my first review and I haven't been so excited to write a review until I got this card. I was thinking to myself, Is this guy really that bad? Since everyone is talking about how his agility is so bad and his balance. But don't look at those stats. He does turn like a tank, but this man turns into a train when he starts running. He will bull dog most defenders and finish with ease. I have Costa along side with Suarez and Iniesta in a 424. Suarez and Costa completely compliment each other. If you've enjoyed Costa back in FIFA14. Then you will love this card! If you're looking for pace, like Neymar or Mbappe, then you will not enjoy this man. He's more like Harry Kane but without the agility. Costa can definitely dribble though. It's not the best, but you'll notice how good the card is when you use it. I play in Division 4 almost in Division 3 thanks to this beast.

At first, when I saw this card I was confused to get him or not because of the agility and balance mainly but as I looked at the price he was a must to do SBC. For that value, he is one of the best strikers you can currently get. In=game I play with 4-1-2-1-2 narrow and he fits perfectly in my attack having got Saurez POTM playing at CAM and partnering Crespo at striker. In-game he actually feels rapid and he when he is in the box you can guarantee that it's going to end up in the back of the net. Yes, it has been less than a day that the SBC came out but I can assure you that he is a must-do. In 20 games he has already managed to bag 39 goals. I personally gave him a hunter because I felt he needed the pace boost since his dribbling is decent and physical is overpowered.

DIEEEGOOOOO COSTAAA THE ELEPHANT MAN! Well, hes the elephant man no more. Where should I begin with this monster? Well, this is my first ever review, and so I am just going to write on each of his base stats and a short summary. Here they are:

PACE: Surprisingly good, I thought his pace would be like Suarez or Lewa, not too fast but not the slowest. But he has surprised me. When he starts making a run, you can play him in behind early and he will get there ahead of the defender. He was constantly beating even fullbacks to the ball, and outpaced players like Smalling or VVD even with an anchor chem style. But against faster defenders like Eder Militao or Diego Carlos, he simply used him pace and his strength in order to get in behind. Obviously its not the high end pace we have come to expect with this fifa with players like mbappe or auba, but it is adequate. 8/10

SHOOTING: Just look and it will be evident. 92 shooting. Doesn't need to be boosted. Like Lewa, its broken everywhere. He scores EVERYWHERE. He has scored form the narrowest angles I've ever scored from. You just have to aim his foot anywhere at the goal and let it fly. His 4* WF feels more like 5* as well. The only downside to his shooting is that his finesse shots aren't as broken as Suarez, but he will usually score them. Also the most clinical finisher I've ever used. 10/10

PASSING: Adequate on basic, very good with Catalyst. He can make those short passes and through balls, just not long balls or anything like that. 9/10

Dribbling: pretty bad, he turns like a truck, but what I do I play him in a 2 striker formation and so if he has his back to goal I just pass it off to my other striker and he runs in behind. But anyway, his composure is top-notch, but thats the only other thing that matter in this category for me. Only because of his reactions and composure he gets a 6/10

Defending: Surprisingly, he won almost every tackle he made and when he lost the ball he tackled it back so 8/10.

Physicality: 99 strength, 99 aggresion. Need I say more? 10/10

In the end, not a meta card, but if you were looking for fun, a card that wins games, bullys VVD, a clinical finisher, and a legend, this card is legendary. To end off, I quote a FUTBIN comment from this card: "RIP his wife"

Now before I start, if you use this card you can't play how you would usually play with the meta cars, (drag back,quick turns, etc) Now that being said, if you play to his strengths, he will absolutely get you goals and lots of them. For me it was a no brainier when it came to completing this card. I've always been a fan of strong target men strikers and Diego Costa in his prime was one of the best. I played him in a 4-2-3-1 at ST. I have him on Stay Central, Target man, and the most important I think is Come back on defense. When you set him to come back on defense, he isn't in your box clearing the ball of the line, he's dropping back just enough to be able to receive the ball with his back to goal and holding it up to get everyone involved. He'll bag goals guaranteed at least 1 a game. More importantly he gets others involved, the play moves through him. Sure his passing stats seem generally low , but with 90 vision he works perfectly. Inside the box left foot right foot does not matter it's going in the back of the net. Yes his agility and balance are very low but if you play to his strengths you won't even feel that. He can perform roulettes, ball rolls, and step overs perfectly fine. He's so cheap that most of you will probably be able to do him for free. This card is a win - win.
