This is the first time I'm actually taking my time to write and post a review about a player and the reason behind this is that there has been plenty of players in FIFA 20 that I felt were really good but didnt make me scratch my head and think, how in the world did that shot get in the goal, but this guy, he's a completely different beast. What is really important to mention is that I am fully aware of the fact that about 90% of the player base cannot afford this card but ignoring the price point for a quick moment, if you are a Dalglish fan, or a Liverpool fan, or for some reason you like reading reviews on incredibly overpriced FIFA Cards then I welcome you to this review!

The backstory of me actually trying him out is not actually that I am a fan of him or that I had milions of coins laying around that I just decided to splash. Was really hoping for a Red 90 Son to go into my team but obviously knowing how the Red Picks work, I got the opposite of what I wanted, but then the packs came in super clutch. I open the pack on the web app and see the white little boxes appear and instantly the euphoria kicks in as I quickly realise it was an Icon. Right after I realised that it was an Icon I had about a second to wish for one of the top valued Icons in the game and somehow FIFA didn't dissapoint for the first time this year. I procedeed to try to sell him for about two days but since I play on PC it was quite hard to sell him for a decent price, so I ended up to keep him in my team and actually give him a shot at proving himself and holy shit he surprised me.

Pace - Dalglish has a base stat of 92 pace which is definitely good enough for some people but I though't I'd give him the Hawk Chem style to boost it up a little and WOW, I did not regret it. He was rapid, and won the sprint duel in almost all cases. I was happily surprised with how rapid he was, but I must say that the 93 Agility definitely had it own impact on how rapid he felt, because he was damn quick.

Shooting - I've tried multiple elite finishers in this game and wow Dalglish blew me away on this one once again. He was able to shoot from any angle or with his back turned to the goal and still always managed to find the back of the net with his shots. He is a complete animal in the box, but that does not mean that you should give him space outside of it, because he is almost as lethal outside the box aswell. Lets pick a random number of 100 shots, and I can promise you that out of the 100 shots taken, maybe 5 were missed in total, and those were at complete crap angles or just really badly misstimed by me. There was no goalkeeper that was able to stop this beast. We all can agree that Ter-Stegen is the most META goalkeeper in the game, but if you ask Dalglish then I bet he'd say that we are wrong, because there is no such thing as a META goalkeeper to him. If he feels like it, he will score. One of the most important things with his shooting is how freaking clutch he is. The moments in the box where you just pray for something to finally get in so you can avoid playing extra time, well Dalglish will definitely step up in those moments and deliver.

Passing - His passing was really good for somebody with an overall of 80 passing. He managed to grab a few assist here and there, but since I was so in love with Dalglish over the games I played with him I almost always prefered to pass to him so that he could grab the goal instead of some other players. I am not 100% sure how good he would be at CAM, but for a lone striker he definitely has good enough passing.

Dribbiling - Holy crap he is good on the ball. The ball is like glue to his feet, and it almost reminds me of how good Messi's dribbling is. Having both Messi and Dalglish in the same team really gives me a perspective of how good his ball control is but also how rapid and how well he just changes the direction. He is incredible in the box because of the dribbling because he will almost always get out of sticky positions against elite defenders.

Defending - Nothing to say

Physicality - He's not the strongest, but his stamina is really good, even though I almost always chose to pass to Dalglish as it was so much fun using him, he still managed to be able to play at the top level for the whole 90 minutes. His jumping is also pretty good but since he is so short, I dont really recommend crossing the ball to him for headers.

Packed this bad boy in a mega pack i got out of division rivals rewards. Ofc i put him in my team and OMG he's good. Hes pace and dribbling is really, really good. outrun almost every defender in the game. But the best part is hes shooting. in the first match i played with him he scored 5 goals. half of them was'nt even chances i just pressed the shootbutton and somehow it went in. just shoot with him and it will be a goal. in my opinion he's the best finisher in the game. on paper he isnt but when you try him out you will understand. he is the GOD of shooting. even better then like R9 and eusebio moment. i've used both in draft and to me daglish shooting is much better. A bonus with this card is the 5 star WF. in this game its one of the most important stuff you can have. i does'nt matter witch foot your shooting with it will result in a goal. if this card would have 5 star SM it would cost like 8 miil to be honest. but for me it does'nt matter, i dont use any skills that requires 5 star SM.
