Brilliant RB

Shapeshifters Hans Hateboer was a great addition to the game from EA considering the lack of solid RB's that have been available in Serie A. Whilst I was wary about his price tag, I initially felt justified by his card and its stats because they were so impressive. Fortunately I can say that his in game performance certainly lives up to the stats. Hateboer's presence on the field is brilliant - he is always hungry for the ball and makes some of the cleanest tackles I've seen from any fullback, let alone any defender, on the game this year. His height and physicality is very noticeable as he always feels dominant when chasing down wingers as well as when he is on the ball; he feels even stronger than the 80 strength stat suggests. I have a lot of faith in his passing ability as well since he does well with through balls to my wingers and forwards. His work rates are ideal if you're a player who chooses the "stay back while attacking" instruction because he actually stays put unlike a lot of other fullbacks on the game who are desperate to join the attack despite their instructions. The 2* weak foot is a shame but never really an issue if you're keeping him on the right side of the pitch. Pace wise, he definitely doesn't accelerate as fast as I was expecting but the sprint speed shines, especially when chasing down wingers on counter attacks. The long thrown in has also been a handy little bonus. Overall, Hateboer is one of the most complete and consistent fullbacks I've used in any year of FUT and is definitely worth the coins if your budget isn't too tight.
