So this is my second ever player review, and I felt that after using Kimmich for almost 20 games now, I wanted to share my experience while he is still available. I am currently using Kimmich in the 4-1-2-1-2 narrow at the LCM position. I have HL Delaney at the CDM spot, and ol' reliable Scream Sabitzer at the RCM. I debated on weather or not to start him at the CDM spot, but when i noticed his dribbling and passing stats were more desirable than Delaney's, I wanted to use him as more of a build up play CM, however, leaving him on stay back while attacking. I decided on using an ANCHOR chem style, simply to give him that slight boost to both his pace and his strength. I was a little skeptical at first with this decision, but once I started playing with him, I was so pleasantly surprised. The first thing I noticed right off the bat was his play on the ball, he feels so much more agile than his card suggests, and on top of that, his passing is sublime to say the least. My two strikers in my formation are Middle Dalglish and 2nd POTM Werner, with FS Olmo at CAM, and Kimmich blends perfectly with these cards. He feeds my strikers such perfect passes, and he surprisingly still pushes forward to join the attack from time to time. I have scored two goals with him so far, and I have to say, his finishing feels much better than his base stat suggests. When focusing more on his defensive capabilities, he once again feels so exceptional on the pitch. His tackles are clean, and one aspect of the card that I love are his interceptions. He moves unlike any card I have ever used in this game in the defense, and this is most definitely because of his H/H work rates. I know a lot of the comments about this card are people who are worried about his strength, but with the anchor chem style, he is very difficult to push off the ball, but even if an attacker does manage to take away possession, his high aggression comes into play. Overall I am extremely satisfied with this cards performance, and if you have a team that required a CM, or a team where you can get links for this card, I HIGHLY recomend completing this SBC while it's still out!
