Please don't listen to the other guy giving him a 1.....

Bought this guy because i needed a passer on my midfield. His passing is and dribbling is insane. he just never loses the ball.

he is a slow player, but if you get used to him he will dominate your midfield. His tackling is certain possesion.

Busquets is an excellent strict cdm; if you use him to do all the classical cdm style things, such as tackling, intercepting and passing, then he is fantastic. His skillset beyond this is not great, so don't try to use him for long shots, rampaging runs or anything like that. Keep it simple, and he is ace.

I've been using him as a ccm in a 4-3-2-1 formation (B.Fernandes lcm and Modric rcm for context). I think he'd work better in an actual cdm position where his strengths will come to the fore more. He also benefits from a more agile midfielder alongside him (Modric in my case, for example). As I'm sure is obvious, shadow is easily his best chem style, as bring his pace to around 75, which really helps.

So keep it simple - jockey for the intercepts and tackles, then use his excellent passing to quickly distribute it out.

Please stop underrating this guy. I am a barca fan so since i saw that busquets was getting a tots i was excited, but knowing that last years was kinda trash I wasn’t too excited. But when i took a look at the stats it got me enthusiastic. I instantly noticed it had some potential and i instantly knew this was going in my barca squad with messi and moments puyol etc.

This card is amazing at cdm, especially with a second faster cdm like shapeshifter mbabu or anything.

Lets face it, he isn’t going to chase mbappe or any fast player for that matter. That is your second cdm’s task. This guy does everything else. His passing is sublime, he gives the most outrageous passes that always seem like they are impossible, somehow busquets does it. It takes some time to get used to his pace but with enough jockeying you can use him to do anything. Defensively he is also very solid, almost every interception sticks and he does the job.

This card is amazing if you have a second fast cdm, its like mandatory. He dominates the midfield and is an awesome guy to use especially if you like barca.

Right, so I'm physically tired by all the talk about "meta players" in this game. I play with players I like and enjoy watching, and Sergio Busquets is perhaps my favourite player. All I hear from content creators and other FIFA players is that "Busquets is not a meta player" and that he is "unusuable". With all due respect, those people don't have a clue about football.

Here's why:

His passing is faultless; you can ask him to play any pass, and he'll do it perfectly well. He never miscontrols the ball. He reads the game better than anyone I've ever used. Therefore, he rarely needs to tackle. But when he does, he wins the ball cleanly. There is simply no-one better to control your midfield than this absolutely lovely man.

EA seems to believe that tall players can't be agile, but Busi is in real life. Even though EA have tried their best to strap him of his brilliant agility and balance, he feels agile in-game. He turns well and always seem to manoeuvre out of tight situations - just like he does in the real world.

"What about his pace?", I hear people ask. Forget about the pace! He's a CDM. He's supposed to read the game, spread passes around and dictate the play, not run around like Adama Traoré or Ryan Kent. Why on earth would you do that? His pace is no issue at all, and the engine chemistry style (which I personally use) boosts the pace to the 70's. It's more than enough.

If you are a classic pace abuser who relies solely on pure speed, my man Busi is perhaps not the player for you. But that is by no means Busi's fault. Busi is an artist; a genius who needs the love of players and people who understands and admires his un-equalled intelligence. A minimum of footballing IQ is required to get the best out of this pure diamond of a player, and the people who use Mbappé, Kent, Adama, Ben Yedder, Neymar and so on do tend to lack the ability to use Busi and his near-peers.

But if you, like me, love, respect, admire and/or cherish Busi's abilities on the pitch, this card is a treasure. I'm not the best FIFA player, but Busi helps me finish Gold 2 in Weekend League with games to spare. He has been my best players for two weekends now, and there is no way I remove this genius from my squad.

Bonus: The feeling when your opponent spend the whole game trying to taking advantage of overpowered moves (which of course only work on FIFA), and Busi sets up your winning goal with a perfectly weighted through-ball... that's the reason to play this game!

So I bought this busquets soon after totssf came out for 102,000 coins and let me say that was money well spent! This fella isn't the usual slow and not great busquets were used to this is a new era for busquets. In his first game he was actually incredible! He glides around the pitch and is actually faster than a lot of players on it even the the card only says 65 pace it really isn't and his shooting is very good for a CDM I was really impressed by this card his passing is so good every time he'd pass the ball I was so confident that it go perfectly to the person I wanted to pass it to. And my god his dribbling is incredible the agility isn't even that bad now I know his balance is quite low but at CDM I didn't see him falling over that much so that's good now onto his defending:His defending along with his physicality was great. The interceptions stat on this card does not lie when a pass from the opponent went near him he would somehow get it. This card I found for the opponent I came up against was unstoppable just and amazing card. Good Job EA
