Josef Martinez!! Should be called Jesus Martinez but whatever. His POTM card was one of the best meta strikers at the start of the game. So I purchased this guy with the same thought he would be banging goals in. His POTM card had 3 star skills though which was upgraded in this card which is amazing. Now his ability to dribble through your opponents defense is even better now. His shooting is ridiculous, I dont remember a single shot which was not in the back of the net. His pace is unstoppable, he is like mbappe but feels faster because of his height maybe. But the one thing that stood out to me was how he never lost the ball. That 80 aggression feels like 99. The defender would take the ball away from him but he would just grab the ball and go through the defender seemingly. Overall for about 500k he is definitely worth every penny and is an absolute bargain. He would still be worth it for 1 million coins. This card is fantastic and I recommend you pick him up if you have a few icons to link him with.

I usually don't write reviews but I decided to do this one to hopefully help some of you. I'm a bang average Fifa player. I don't play fut champs because I prefer rage-free gameplay so I'm playing rivals in 4th division which I find pretty competitive. I got lucky this year and packed my first ever TOTY and it was Messi, so throughout this Fifa I've had lots of coins to try out different players, among strikers I've used the likes of moments Dalglish, moments Butra, moments Henry, baby Cruyff, tots Aguero, tots Suarez and many many others and Martinez is by a mile better than any of them and is 10 TIMES cheaper than most of them. The guy has just scored hat tricks in 3 consecutive games for me. I've played 10 games with him and he had 22 goals and 5 assists and he was on 9 chem also but I don't think he can get any better. The guy feels so responsive, his positioning and off the ball movement are amazing, the pace is great. I'm using him with basic chemistry style which gets him to 95 strength and he can push of massive defenders sometimes and that got goals for me many times. The stamina could be better though, he feels tired at the and of the second half and if you play fut champs you will have to sub him off if it gets to the extra time. And now we get to his best part - shooting. The guy is monster, he has 99 position 99 finishing and 97 shot power which also goes to 99 with basic chef style, he scored goals from terrible angles, off the balance, first touch - no problem. Also It feels like EA just forgot to write down finesse shot into his traits because it definetly feels like he has one. Weak foot also feels like a 5*. Anyways value for coins I think this is the best card in Fifa. If you have enough icons to fit him into the squad try him out, or use him as super sub but he deserves to be in the starting 11 trust me.

I got him in Red and first i was mad, but now im fucking happy. He is so OP. If h have the Ball, it is in the Goal. Very fast ans strong shots.

I got Martinez in my elite 3 red picks which is useful as I was going to buy him anyway. I played my final weekend league with him up front in a 433 and he was insane. I previously had Crespo moments upfront and I had changed my playstyle to suit a less agile striker so initially, when I got him I struggled to score goals with him but after about 5 goals of rivals I had understood how to use him and his pace/agility matched with his strength/shooting makes him an unbelievable striker. He's shooting his insane and he can generate so much power in his shots even from standing still or weird angles. Another thing I liked about him is that even though he doesn't have the finesse shot trait he score absolutely ridiculous finish shots and with his power he can do it anywhere outside the box. I didn't really have any problems with his weak foot as the chances I got on his weak foot were pretty easy to score. He ended up scoring 37 goals in 29 games and got me Elite 3

I got him in my guaranteed MLS pack, thinking I would get the shit chilean cb or the goalkeeper, but no, I got the best one available, apart from tevez. I went insane, because actually he is the most expensive player I have packed in my life, excluding the red picks where I got 97 messi. Played some matches with him, and in the first ball he got he scored, with just one heel to heel and outside of the foot shot near post, outside the box, top corner, a goddamn long shot. I was so impressed but I thought "all new players are amazing the first few matches and then they die". But I have played 25 matches with him and he is still amazing me, most consisntent player I have used this year after TOTS visca, my elite super sub. Martinez has the spark that not all strikers have, he is the perfect target man, with his 99 positioning, 97 acceleration, 80 aggression, he is always where he is supposed to be. Great short pass, decent long pass, average long shots, with maestro chem style. Perfect finishing, outside of the foot shot trait........ the list goes on and on
