I wasn't too sure what to expect when ROTW TOTSSF was announced. I'd heard rumours that there was a kent card coming, but when i didn't arrive i was saddened, yet grateful for the sake of my future weekend leagues. My relief however was shortlived when is saw this card in the squad and i though that this would be the new Ben Yedder, looking at his card stats. How wrong i was. I played 13 games last night with him at LW and he didn't live up to the expectations at all. In those 13 games he got 3 goals and 3 assists (on full chem) and made huge mistakes continuously throughout the session. His Pace was very good, but otherwise his card felt clunky whilst dribbling and poor when shooting.
The main pro was definitely his pace. He skinned most defenders that he came across and his runs in behind were amazing. His passing and crossing was decent and picked out my striker a decent amount, but not as much as you would expect from a card of this price at this stage in fifa.
Major Con's were his 3 star skills and the way in which he felt. as I said before he quite often got in behind very well but once he was there, never was able to consistently test the keeper. His finesse shots were decent, but his other shots were poor and don't get me started with his dribbling. Quite often would beat the full back, but by the time i reached an area to shoot or look for a cut back he would immediately be pressured by the centre back and would give up possession quite easily. his left stick dribbling was the best and i was relived that i could go back to TOTSSF Payet afterwards. Another thing was that 9 times out of 10 when tussling against the defender he would give up easily and lose possession frequently.
lucky for me (or maybe not so lucky), i managed to pack this lad a few hours after he came into packs. having previously used his headliner, i had mixed feelings about how he would perform. his headliner never really felt good on the ball, or had a good finish either, and seeing that the difference in shooting stats honestly is not that huge, i was quite sceptical about how he would perform. luckily however, EA released Modric just the day before so it wasn't entirely too hard to link him into the team. here's how i thought he played.
PACE - the acceleration boost EA have given him is good enough for him to finally feel rapid in-game and jet past defenders. his headliner never really felt fast enough for me, and almost always got caught by defenders no matter how fast or slow they were.
PASSING - overall, his passing is above par. he makes nice through balls can do driven cutback passes really effectively. where he excels most however, is with his freekicks. HE DOES NOT MISS. no matter what angle, how far out, if there's a man on the line or not, just move the marker close to the corner and it's destined to go in (99 FKA + 99 SHOT PWR + 99 CURVE)
DRIBBLING - given his lack of skill moves to get past defenders, his dribbling is good enough to shift past them quickly and effectively.
DEFENDING - surprisingly, defending seems to be his best trait. he always wins 1v1s and intercepts most balls that move past him. he's not super strong, but for a LW, 79 strength isn't too shabby.
SHOOTING - there's no reason why his shooting shouldn't be good, but it just isn't. his finishing feels below 80, so does his shot power. his shots ALWAYS get deflected. ALWAYS. it's like he's an auto-block magnet. his finesse shots are ok, but not good enough seeing that he has 99 curve AND the finesse shot trait.
There have been lts of negative reviews about this guy but tbh I don't know how. For me I feel like he is best at stricker so I played him at left st in a 41212 narrow. He was amazing he always makes the right runs and is incredibly quick his weekfoot feels like 5 star but his skill moves can let him down sometimes. I used him on full chem with a marksman and that is the chem style you have to use so he is strong aggresive but his composure won't let you down as much. HIs finesse shots are insane and his far and near post finishing is very good lots of people don't like him on the wing so is you have a 2 st formation he will be perfect.

ive seen a lot of bad reviews and tbh, idk why.
He is an amazing card and is great value for money, i luckily packed him so he was a great free card for me and is defo worth his price

Lads, idk whats going on with the others, but this lad is GREAT as a super sub. His pace and shooting are amazing, seconded by finisher chem style. He is great for the counters, and honestly i cant find out any flaw. his passing, shooting and dribbling work wonders for me. I generally witch TOTWM messi as RAM and sub off aguero in the 70th minute for orsic if im losing. so far, so goodd! there has been barely any game where he doesn't make an impact, whether it is sowing panic in the defence, making them slip up, smashing goals past helpless keepers or even making some good, well timed passes. 32 Goals plus assists in 25 games honestly makes it worth it.
