Ok, before we get going, of course he's NOT Gullit, even just because of the missing 5*WF, but let's be honest guys: this card is nicely balanced, really brings everything you could wish for (not counting the missing 4*WF) and comes at an "ok" price! He also has great links with LFC/Prem/Dutch players which is nice to have. So from the perspective of cost vs. basic stats/characteristics its a good sbc! Of course owners of other league teams might not be too happy with even more LFC players popping up (I also wished for Bundesliga content to be honest), but he's here and we can just make the most of it!

For the gameplay part: he feels solid, I mean REALLY solid. He's fast, he can dribble and feels responsive on the ball even during poor gameplay. His shooting is good, his passes always land where theyre supposed to and if you give him the Anchor Chemistry Style you can maximize his physical and defensive stats as well. His high/high work rates combined with the 99 strength are the one thing I liked the most: hes everywhere on the pitch, picking up the ball in your own half and taking it all the way forward, over and over and over and over again! He somewhat reminds me of TOTS Sabitzer, who has perfectly balanced stats too and can simply do anything on the pitch, just that this Wijnaldum has even higher increased stats and thats where the comparison with Gullit came from. There are players that are far more dangerous in front of goal and players that can defend way better, but he combines the best of each position which helps him link your backline to the attack. For the price of 140K at this point in the game its a great card and even if there are several alternatives I can completely recommend doing him.

It was my first all-round midfielder in this Fifa ...... when I saw him I ran to complete the SBC I couldn't help but have him on the team!

I stuck him an anchor and I deployed CDM on the right in my 4231, what to say ......... mortal sin is released only now, ready to defend a small impassable rock ..... very agile and always in the right place.

But the thing I liked most is his offensive propensity, as soon as he can he pushes himself to support the tips and then sometimes try sorties in the goal area often with success.

Well its high / high work rate together with its great agility and endurance ..... make it an absolute crazy splinter that will cover the entire field both forward and backward carrying out an incredible amount of work.

As an expert would say ........ this is the classic player that every coach would like in the team ....... a tireless scooter that with its dynamism makes the team play well ....... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!

Good Morning / Afternoon / Evening, I'm extremely excited to share my thoughts on a card that in my opinion is one of the best value sbcs in all FIFA 20, I was on the search for an elite CM as I was using SS Acuna for the longest of times. Wijnaldium has been a great card all year who was extremely hyped, especially his Headliners, so when I saw this card, I immediately expected this card to cost 400k, but when I saw the price, It didn't take me more than 10 mins to get this card into my team. Two 83 rated teams was an absolute bargain, and since I had a ton of untradeable fodder, I got this card for free, and I have to say I wasn't disappointed...

Pace: Although his pace didnt feel like 97 after being boosted with the anchor chem style, he was still incredibly fast for a CM, his body type and height make him feel extremely light on the ball and his 99 stamina makes sure his pace does not go down while making extremely long, solo runs with the ball. he was also able to keep up with TOTS Rashford, which says definitely says something. All and all he has great pace for a CM

Shooting : This part of the card really surprised me, although he's a CM, I used him a lot on attacking transitions in which his shooting was flawless, His shots are clean and concise and move like a bullet, you can really feel his 96 shot power, and his shooting animations make it extremely satisfying when you shoot with him, inside the box he can finish everything, but you'll find that his outside the box shots are just as good, I found him especially handy against this really annoying player who was playing the toxic '0 depth, drop back'. Since his box would be extremely crowded, I had to take some long shots, and since his shot power was so incredible,I found that the ball would fly a lot faster than my opponents annoying 'auto block' could kick in. His shooting obviously won't be something you can 100 percent rely on, but it has to be the best shooting I have tried on a CM all year!

Passing: I was just about to give him a 9 for his passing when I remembered this incredible long ball he did from half the pitch all the way to my TOTS Promes who was waiting just at the edge of the penalty box, which led to an incredible volley into the back of the net, that had to be one of my most impressive goals all year and it was because of an incredible pass by the Genie himself. And you shouldn't be surprised by the fact that his passing will always get the ball to the right spot, His 96 long passing is just what you need when you need over the top balls in behind and his 99 short passing can make defense breaking balls in behind, I was thoroughly impressed by this passing because it always hit the 'sweet spot'. His 92 reactions was something I was incredibly grateful for as he was lighting fast in those quick fire '1-2s'. All in all one of the main highlights of this card and is something that will stand out in the first 10 mins of using hime

Dribbling: The main highlight of this card, 90 agility, 93 balance, 92 reactions, 95 in game dribbling and 5'9 height help create an incredible dribbling experience, what I loved about this card is that he had almost no weight on him, which made his turns extremely sharp and concise, his left analogue stick dribbling is one of the best I've used all year because he keeps the ball very, very close to his legs which makes it extremely hard for the opponent to take the ball of him and is extremely advantageous near the touchline. His left analogue stick dribbling is also very good at while sprinting which is very rare. Im an obsessive 'ball roller' and he does this very well, because of the fact he has 4 star skills, he does his ball roles at an almost 90 degree angle which makes me very confident while doing the skill. Finally his responsiveness is on a different level. If you get this card, I will guarantee you that his dribbling won't dissappoint

Defending: Another surprising attribute, on paper this is his lowest stat, but ingame his defending is flawless. I found that a boost given by the anchor chem style really takes his defensive game to another level. What I enjoyed the most about his defending was his standing tackle. He didnt go for the player but went for the ball which is something you love to see, 9 time out of 10 he will get the ball, and his tackles are decisive, ones he goes for the ball he will get it cleanly, He doesn't make 'loss challenges' in which neither you or the opponent get the ball which is really annoying. He comes away with the ball efficiently. Another trait about him I found surprising and incredible is that I didnt have to press 'B' on my Xbox controller to get the ball, while running jockey, I found that whenever someone would get close enough to Genie, he would tackle them himself, which was really good as it saved room for errors. Finally he has impeccable positioning, he has this rotational policy with his other teamates in which if any of them go out of position, he will instantly fill that position up.

Physical: He has great physicality, He is very good at holding of an opponent when they are putting pressure on him, he has great stamina and will come all game. I do worry about his height and body type and that he can get bullied of the ball easily, but haven't come across yet, I found him physically stronger than SH Kessie, who has 96 physical

I would like to conclude by saying that Genie is an absolute steal, a 94 Prem CM with incredibly well rounded stats and with Dutch links is absolutely worth it for 140k

Let me start of by saying that i've been looking for the perfect secondary cdm for some time to replace prime Matheus, tots Kimmich was let down by his work rates, tots Henderson just felt really clunky. but with Wijnaldum, it's a different story, his passing and dribbling are incredible to move the ball forward with, his work rates are great and obviously 99 stamina is great so he can run around all match, i used him with an anchor to boost his pace and defending along with strength and aggression, 99 acceleration and 95 sprint speed are really obvious with how fast he gets back into position, that's if he is ever out of position, with 93 interception, 98 standing tackle 96 defensive awareness, Wijnaldum will be as good as anyone at defending , in conclusion, if you're looking for a secondary cdm and don't have the coins for the likes of Gullit, Wijnaldum would be a very good replacement.

I must compliment EA for once, because this man is just like in real life; pretty below average. That's Wijnaldum,almost jack of some traits, master of absolutely none. He cant shoot or defend, dribbling is OKis but the worst of all; he is continously out of position, like he doesnt have a clue where to run to. Again just like in real life where he f#cks up a shot or pass that leads to a goal.Mediocre would be a compliment in his case. For 140 K you can get far better players at this stage of the game. Stay away from this clown.
