The best CB in Fifa 20?

When it comes to fan favorites of course this man can't be left out! The wall himself, David Luiz!

To answer the question in topic right now: not sure, honestly. There are still other players that can at least keep up with him, such as TOTS/TOTY Van Dijk, or TOTS Ramos and Varane. BUT when you played his Flashback version or at least played against it, you know this man is somewhat like a cheat code. Super fast, super aggressive, flawless defending and oh yeah, he has nice links. While players like TOTS Diego Carlos still cost more than 500K and looking at David Luiz base card stats while keeping in mind, how crazy his flashback version performs ingame, the price is absolutely ok. His base card stats for passing are good, his dribbling is perfectly fine for a CB (except that balance, but he will win the ball even if he stumbles intoyour opponents so whatever). But what about his actual ingame performance?

His execution of his defensive duties was flawless, 100% perfect. There was no moment when he got caught out of position, or where he got caught "Boatenging" (which is what I call situations, when the CB simply keeps standing still if the striker makes a run in behind). His passes were as good as they had to be, his pace was phenomenal, I couldnt test his shootig though. His dribbling is surprisingly nice, now of course with being a walking rock he doesn't feel "super responsive" or anything like that, but regarding his height and body type and also the fact that he is a god damn CB he feels quite smooth. Just like his flashback version this guy is so aggressive he simply flies into your opponents strikers without a foul ever being given, you just have to love it. Now we could talk about how the hell its possible that this man is a god ingame, while he is the exact opposite in real life, but thats Fifa, so let me just say one more thing: he is great, you will never ever regret doing him!
