Well this is my first review for FIFA 20, so hopefully it helps any of you looking to pick up this Korean monster. My dear god is this man a ridiculously good card to pick up in this game. I genuinely believe that the caliber of quality that this card will deliver will last you for most of the game's lifetime, since the only thing he does is score straight bangers. Initially, I thought that for his hefty price (picked him up for 440k), that he would be an average player who may not do much for me, but man was I wrong. I honestly can not see a single thing wrong with this Son card, he scores goals for fun and feels seamless on the balls. I initially play Son as a CM for chemistry reasons, but switch in game to 4222 and play him as a striker with Lacazette.

Pace 9.5/10

Now don't get me wrong, Son is extremely fast in game, but it is important to understand that there are faster players than him in the game; however, it doesn't mean they feel as smooth as Son with the ball. So that's why I have given Son such a high rating on pace, but not necessarily a perfect score. I am sure he will get some special cards in this game, and hopefully they make him feel a bit faster.

Shooting 10/10

North Korea may have missiles ready to launch at any time, but Heung Min Son already has two missiles of his own, his left and right feet. No matter what side you take the shot from, the accuracy of his shots are impeccable. Thanks to the boost from the hawk chemistry style, it makes his shooting way more lethal than it was before. Whether you like taking in the box finishes or finessing outside of the box, this man will do whatever you ask of him.

Passing 8.5/10

I play this Korean god next to Lacazette, and I have to say that their partnership is ridiculous. Heung Min Son not only scores goals himself, but easily sets up his partner in crime for goals constantly. His through balls are usually on target likely due to his strong weak foot, but nonetheless he still gets the job done.

Dribbling 10/10

Son's feet are literal magnets to the ball. I really enjoyed Son because he would keep the ball so close to him which made him hard to tackle. He felt extremely agile and would turn around very fast with the ball, so using skill moves with him is very effective. It wasn't enough of an issue to hinder Son, but if I had to be really picky about him, I felt that his balance was slightly low. Sometimes if he gets tackled he may stumble pretty hard, but once you get used to how he plays, this basically becomes unnoticeable.

Physical 9/10

Surprisingly, Son felt much stronger than I thought he would. Last year, I felt that he was rather weak and would get bullied off the ball far too easily but this year he just feels way different. Whenever I would make a through ball to him and he had to fight against a defender, most of the time he would win the bout and outpace them, but occasionally he would get bodied by physically dominant players like Koulibaly. Also, his stamina is one of his best traits for me, since he is still able to play at his absolute best when everyone else would get tired.

For where he stands right now, I believe that Son is one of the best strikers in the game right now. He has the abilities to do absolutely everything a top tier striker should have and even more.His link up play is extremely effective, and he is also able to score goals on his own. Even being over 400k, I believe that this price is justified with the quality that you will be getting from him. This man will be an absolute beast in this game for months to come, and should be the card that everyone saves to try and get. If South Korea ever heads to war with North Korea, I already know that the man leading the front line will be Heung Min Son.

Pace: Pretty good Accerlation (not like e.g.Mertens) for a Player of his height and agility. Will beat the defender 8 out of 10 times. Hunter will do the rest.

Dribbling: Part time he could be clunky but my guess it's only when the server lag appear. Most of the time it's pretty easy to beat the defender and especially the containing cdm. Because of the 89 ballcontrol, the is glued to his feet and with the LB/L1 dribbling he won't lost the ball.

Shooting: 10 out of 10 times it is a goal. He will finish everything in the box. 5* wf is the most reliable thing on him. Left/Right doe not matter, just shoot. Moreover if the opponent plays drop back shoot from outside the box. His shots are so damn accurate that they will find the net 8 out of 10 times (with or without timed finish).

Passing: Ok but i did not recognize any outstanding positives oder negative issues

Defense: Offensive Player so it is not necessary. Even the low agressive stat wont bother you

Physical: Not the best and he will go down pretty often, so just use the LB/L1 dribbling that you dont go H2H with any defender. Stamina is high enough for 120min and the only thing why gets 7/10 for physical. Heading is not existent, just like in the whole game.

Price: its so damn right that it is so high right now. Best striker of the PL beside Agüero Scream

Where to start with this card. Son has always been one of my favourite players in the prem and he's never had the card he deserves until this year. EA decided to bless him with the most ridiculous card I've used.

I packed is blue champions league card back in October, played 2 games with him and sold him for around 470k. At that point he didn't feel amazing but that's because I didn't know how to play with him correctly.

I now use him at ST with SBC Vardy and they both work so well together. Son's card is pretty much perfect in all the relevant areas.

Pace - His pace is enough to give small bursts away from defenders and also once past them then pull away further. He hasnt got the blistering pace like sterling or Sane but its good enough. I use a Hunter on him and he feels very quick.

Dribbling - He honestly feels like someone with 92+ dibbling, when he's not sprinting the ball is stuck to his feet and it can be so hard to get the ball off him due to his size. he can weave in and out of players with ease. His drag backs seem to be so effective when trying to make space and then uses his pace to burst past the defender.

Shooting - His shot is something else entirely, my favourite part of this card is the consistency of his shot and his weak foot. I would honestly say he has the best weak foot of any player I've ever used in any fifa. His ability on both feet is what makes this card so special. If you are in the box and have the slightest bit of space just shoot. 90% of the time its going in or the keeper is making some insane save out the top bins.

Strength - Although his strength stat is not great he feels much stronger. I reckon its down to his height, being 6ft he can jostle with a defender and sometimes comes out on top. If i was to rate his strength i would say its around the 75-80 mark.

Passing - His passing is as good as you need it to be. As a striker its perfect as he doesn't often need to put long balls in so that's no problem. His short passing is good and allows quick accurate build up play when attacking.

Defending - Now they have Jose this may be relevant as park the bus is inevitable but in fifa ovbs dont matter.

Overall I would say if your'e looking for a new ST and have the coins then don't hesitate on this guy. May take a game or so to get used to how he plays and the way he moves but when you do then you will love him and never want to sell him.

Where should i start...I have used this card for only 26 games and i already feel the urge to write a review about him since he's that good.So the chem style that i used is engine because his shooting is already good enough and i felt that his pace and dribbling need to be jacked off and what can i say...he is amazing.He has the 5* WF and 86 shooting so you don't have to worry about that.Everything goes in.He also has 95 dribbling with the engine chem style and 4* SM which is amazing for skill goals and personally i don't use many 5* skill moves so 4 star is just fine for me and i have scored a lot of great skill goals with this card.His pace also goes up to 93 which is amazing for a ST and trust me...Once you give him the through ball in the right moment,no one can catch up to him.He has the 87 stamina and he doesn't get the tired all game thanks to that and his passing also goes up to 85 which was really usable for me to assist Aubameyang who btw is also very op.For only 105K (at the time i am writing this) i would definitely recommend you getting him because for me he has 30 goal contributions (19 goals and 11 assists) in only 26 games and i don't think that there's anyone better for the price he is.Cheers.

I was fortunate enough to pack him in a free 5k pack and in my 53 games played with him, he has carried my squad above and beyond. His attributes set him as one of the best ST or CAM's in this game with his 5 star weak foot, finishing, ball control and all rounded dribbling stats. I belive that he is great value for money and if you can afford him, then you should definitely buy him.
