Despite the doubts I had about this card and despite what people were writing about this guy, I decided to give him a go, so I completed the SBC. I did play him on 7 chem in 11 games of div 4 and he scored 2 goals from the lb position. There's a lot to talk about, so let's get right into it.
As expected, pace is god-like and there's no need to improve this department at all. Nobody runs past him, even if the opposition player has a 2-3 m head start, he just catches up with him and either bodies the players to oblivion or tackles him.
While shooting is not fantastic, he can shoot. The 72 finishing is not great, but the 85 shot power compensates for it very much and makes his shooting, even without a chem style, as I used a sentinel on him, reliable. At least on his left that is. I would recommend the gladiator chem style if you want to play him on the left wing in a 3-5-2 formation or the dead-eye if you want to play him as a left mid in any other formation.
Passing, for a full-back at least, is acceptable. Apart from fk accuracy (which is irrelevant) and long passing, he makes decent passes and through ball passes to other players. Don't expect much else from him though. I found his crossing to be quite good, even though he didn't get a single assist.
While not perfect, his dribbling is very good. Yes, his reactions and composure are not up to par, but I've used gold Alphonso Davies from day 1, which has similar composure and reactions and I didn't have a single problem with his dribbling. I would say Adama has better overall dribbling than him.
Defending is good, especially for a pacey lb like him. Didn't have any problems here at all.
Physicality is 100% the best part of this card. With 88 heading accuracy and 88 jumping, while being 5'10", he didn't struggle to win headers from corners, so no worries here. If you slap a sentinel on him and play him on full chem, he'll have 90 ha and 95 jumping, so I reckon he'll be very good from headers (at least most of the time). Had him on balanced and as expected from the h/h wr, he was running up and down the left flank all game and his fitness at the end of the games was quite good, so no problems with stamina. His strength is phenomenal. A 96 pace lb with 90 strength should be illegal. He pushes everyone of the ball no matter the height and strength of that player. Definitely the best part of the card. Aggression is not bad and he fights for the ball very decently.
So my thoughts about this card are quite mixed. While he is the best lb from the prem, I would argue that for his price he should be at least the 2nd best non-icon lb after RTTF Davies, but he is not. Gold Mendy is very similar to this card: not the same pace, but still good, not very good shooting, but he's a lb, very similar passing and maybe even better just because of the long passing and similar defending. Adama beats him on dribbling and physical, but Mendy is 150-160k cheaper and has the 5* wf while being French, so the value is much better in my opinion. If you have a prem team and really need a lb, as there aren't many good choices in the prem, do it, it's a big W, but that's where it ends. I think this guy is possibly the 3rd best non-icon lb after gold Mendy and RTTF Davies, but I haven't tried many lb's, so take this with a pinch of salt. This guy is quite overpriced and I absolutely don't recommend him outside prem teams.
Pace
Shooting (if you play him at lb)

Defending (considering he is a pacey lb)
Physical, especially strength
4* sm
While passing is acceptable, for 220k he should at least have better passing than Mendy
2* wf
Long passing
Shooting (if used in attacking positions)
Overpriced
Hello guys,
this is my first review and my english is not the best, so pls don't hate.
Let's move on to adama. I swapped him ingame with alex moreno (frezze), so he played as a cb and I have to say he's the best cb in the game. He played against Mbappe and Rashford and other players. Not even Mbappe had a chance. He's so fast and strong. His defending is good enough too. I can't say much about his shooting, but the passing was good for a cb. He also carried me to div 1. When you think about to play him as a cb, just do it. In my opinion he's worth the 200k.

Okay, first of all, I want to say I'm going to try to be the most fair possible. I've used Adama as a CDM for the past 7 games in a 4-2-2-2 formation, with a gladiator chemistry style, because it gives him a nice +15 finishing and a +10 shot power boost, aswell as better defending stats. I use him in a more attacking role, as he is in pair with valverde, a more defensive minded player. I'm not going to lie, in these game the stats may look better than he really performs, because I have focused more on using and watching how Adama plays than playing as a team. In those 7 rivals games, he has gotten 8 goals and 7 assists. Before you come hear saying I'm a Division 10 player, I want to clarify I'm a Division 4 and Gold 2 player. The best things from Adama are his pace, of course, he is the fastest player in the game, his high strength, which gave him what he needed to get past the defenders, and I also liked his shooting and dribbling. But not everything was incredibly good. His stamina, at 83, is pretty low for the role I give him, and at the end of the game he is always way too tired. He sometimes feels a bit clunky when that happens, and as he is too fast sometimes when driving the ball it goes way too far from him and the defender steals it. One thing I expected to be way worse was his passing, but he has given a lot of key passes and many of them ending as a goal. About his shooting, the only thing I have to say is that if you shoot with his left foot from a central position, you will almost score every single chance. His shooting is pretty decent, and with his high pace and strength you will be able to have a lot of chances with him. In the devensive side, he was also great. With him being so fast he could recover his position almost every time even though he always attacks, and he can catch up the fastest strikers you can think of almost every time. His sliding tackle was just beautiful, as he stoped the opponent's striker many times from scoring an easy goal. Even though, don't try to pass or to shoot with his right foot, because he is just horrendous in that aspect.
In overall, I think he is worth it if you can complete him for less than 150k, and only if you can use him as a midfielder. As a winger his defending stats would be completely wasteed and I didn't like him as a left back because he has incredible attacking stats that aren't well exploited there. Maybe he would be decent as a cb, but High/High workrates aren't ideal for the position, but incredible for a balanced .midfielder

When EA released this card I couldn't believe it at first. What have they done? Are they out of their damn mind? I daydreamed of Adama swooping in to challenges at the last second before sending Dembeles, Rashfords, and Mbappes to the floor. However, his initial right-footedness coupled with high/low workrates were a huge turn off. Then, much to my surprise, EA fixed this card to make it a very viable option for anyone's defense. And viable is an understatement for the effectiveness of this card. First and foremost, not a soul can outrun this man. Even the sweatiest of pace demons lose footraces down the wing against Adama. On the off-chance someone does get past Adama, his strength and agility allow him to recover quickly and win the ball back. In addition to his defensive ability out wide, Adama can also play centrally as a CB or CDM. I found Adama to be a fantastic cure to pacey strikers and through balls as a CB. Joe Gomez doesn't even compare to Adama's ability to play the all-important sweeper role in front of goal and sniff out through balls. Another aspect of this card that deserves mentioning is Adama's ability going forward. He was lights out in a 5-2-1-2 and 3-5-2. Adama's four star skills, pace, smooth dribbling, and hulkish body type made it near impossible to defend him out wide. His vision and long passes down the line are disappointing, but his crosses and short passing were surprisingly good. Adama can perform the classic wide moves and cutback passes just as well as any other winger can. Yet, while Adama has a lot to offer, he does have a few drawbacks worth considering before completing this SBC. The biggest deficiency with this card is the stamina. 83 isn't terrible by any means, but he gets noticeably slower while tracking back at 75' and beyond. Just have a sub ready if you use him in both attacking and defensive roles out wide. As a CB stamina was not a problem. My other knock on this card was the positioning. I found Adama to be too far forward in a few instances, but setting him on stay back while attacking solves this problem. Just be aware of this tendency if you plan on playing him on balanced or join the attack. All in all, this Adama is hands down my favorite card in Fifa 21. As someone who runs a PL team, I plan on using him as a LB/CB until TOTS. That being said, if you run a PL team as well, this man is a MUST. His stats are on par with CB Walker and IF Gomez, and it shows. He also puts the 83 Van Aanholt and 84 Telles cards to shame. Even if you don't have a PL team, I feel like you will regret not doing him. With the way FUT Freeze has gone so far, there won't be many cards better than this one. At the very least, give his loan card a try. This man will bring your team to the next level.
Pace, physicality, dribbling, attacking presence, crossing
Stamina, long passing
I did him because i wanted to connect Ramos IF with some PL untradeables and i had unessecary players from the 85+ upgrade so i went for it since he was for free
Im Playing him straight up as a Left Back to connect Ramos and he ist just incredible he gets nearly every interception for me.
this mfk is so Meta that the interception animation looks bugged already
Gladiator for 87 finishing
He Even scored for me some crazy goals as a lb
For me a Gamechanger i never had an better non icon lb in any Fifa Ultimate team since 2013 maybe hes even better than some icons
+ He Outpaces everyone just everyone even if hes far away from the striker he will get him pace 12/10
+ u can almost play him on every position

-2 star weak foot but for me wasnt needed
-pricey if u have to buy the players for the sbc i hope u got them untradeable
-sometimes hes in the front but can pace back so idk its actually not a big problem
Adama is an unbelievable CM, i partnered him with Jesus Navas Freeze in a 442.
Pace:10/10, Adama is a rapid player, he breaks away from people brilliantly, and if you want him at CB, he’s able to catch anyone. His runs are brilliant, in the last game he scored 2 goals by breaking away from the CM that is marking him, I pass him the ball, double tap r1 to kick the ball around the CB, 1 on 1 kick it top bins far post, almost unstoppable.
Shooting: 7/10 He’s not an insane shot but when 1 on 1 he’ll score 8 times out of 10, he gets in good enough positions to be able to score (didn’t use shooting chem style.)
Passing: 8/10, a good passer, not great, good through balls to play in Salah and Son, needs chem style to help it.
Dribbling: 9/10: Agile, keeps close control well, helps his speed.
Defending: 8/10, Tackles well, intercepts well, his physical helps.
Physical: 9/10, Strong, very strong, but not great stamina, fantastic jumping.
P.S. He played CB for 3 games and 1 game was a quit in squad battles bc Llorente got sent off. This means he played about 19 games.
He is the ultimate game changer.
Pace, Dribbling, Defending, Physical, skills.
Weak foot, Stamina.

Back at when this SBC was released I had some decent fodder, so I went on and completed him, since he was an easy linkable player. At first, he just seemed like an overpacy player with no other talent appart from running around. Anyway, he became a key part of my very moderate success during this FIFA21, as he completed a circle of many roles and positions.
He began in my team as a left back, just as his card recommends. I have never been a conservative player, so I let my full backs get to the box and play crosses or long shots. Back then, Adama just felt clumsy when touching the ball and very unaccurate when tackling... that's why he lost his starting spot; becoming my first ever Supersub.
I slapped a deadeye chem style on him (to make him a very usable player in every single position) and started subbing him in around the 75th minute. CDM, LW, CB, LB, ST... he was simply the perfect sub. His 96 pace and 80+ dribbling and physical felt real in-game for the first time. Very good crosses, counter attack stops, great counter attacking goals and very important key passes made me feel absolutely proud of completing his SBC.
Anyway, as the game went on, he became a defender one more time. For the last monht and a half, I've played him as a center back with a Sentinel chem style. Now he is literally unbeatable. I am yet to see an attacker outpace him... and he is just too strong for any striker away from Lewa and CR7, maybe. Also, having Joe Gomez (a little clunky and big defender) alongside him, I've experienced a perfectly balanced center back couple.
Can't really recommend him anymore (since he expired) but I can definitely affirm that almost no player that completed his SBC feels regret. What a good CB, and what a complete super sub! A must-try player, no doubt.
Pace, it's ridiculous.
Strength, pretty OP for his size.
Dribbling. He's very smooth with the ball when attacking or taking the ball away from our own field.
Passing. It's quite decent for a CB, but definitely could be better.
He's bad at aerial duels.
Shooting. Very decent at long shots, very poor finishing inside the box.
Adama Traore as a left-back is solid. For the price (200k), it's not worth completing it. His passing is the worst thing about the card. In-game, Adama is sometimes much too aggressive and his stamina is not outstanding either
Absolutely physical beast His defense is fine. Really fast
His passing is horrific. He's way too offensive, even though I give him a hold on attacks. price better alternatives that are cheaper (Mendy)
