He's for sure expensive but I can tell you that if you have the coins to the sbc and want him to play than do him. He is and feels like a high end player. Probably very similar with Neymar but if you like Ribery go for him.
Everything! He's rapid, has good passing, perfect dribbling and his shoots are unreal.
The price for sure but if you really want to play him he's worth it
Frank the Tank, what a player in his prime. Controversial yet amazing. The Robben-Ribery era was a big one and I had to do one of them. I did not complete the Robben SBC and regret that because this last weekend he slapped me with a long-range finesse. So when I saw Ribery's card I knew he might be an integral part of my RTG team. First thing off, his price. Ribery is around 900k on PS. This is a very large amount, especially for an SBC. I had fodder to lower the coin price to around 600k. Neymar was my CAM for my team at the time and played him for over 400 games. Club legend, but it was time for a change. I tried some cards and none were the same. Ribery looked very good, -1 in pace and -1 in shooting does not do much of a difference. And we have to take in the fact of Ribery's height, dribbling, 5* 5*, and links make him the perfect card to replace my Neymar. I completed the SBC after selling Neymar and ran him as a CAM in a 4-2-3-1 behind Mbappe and also as a CAM in a 4-1-2-1-2 (2) behind Mbappe and the new moments Dybala (Review will come).
I got Ribery at the last 10 games of the weekend league. I was 18 - 2 which is quite good and was hoping for back to back elite 2. Immediately I noticed that Ribery was agile, he could weave past defenders. Ever since Step Overs was patched I struggled in my attack and reverted to left stick dribbling which Ribery was sublime in. His movements were silky and I loved that. I also noticed his movement off the ball. CR7 is another card who has amazing positioning. Ribery manages to get into spaces that other cards do not find and this makes him a class player. Passing wise Frank is superior to than Neymar, I have not found a better CAM at passing than Ribery (Dybala's moments has great passing too, but due to the weak foot many of his right foot passes are weak). His pace was good and with HUNTER chemstyle Ribery was a speedy lad. Finally Ribery's finishing is decent. It does not feel cracked but definetly 84 shooting does not justify this man's finishing. If you remember Fut Birthday ASM last year, Ribery is this card's equivalent.
Closing Words:
Ribery is an elite level card. Yet, if you have around 900k and do not know who to purchase between Neymar and Ribery. Go for Neymar. In my opinion the two are the best non-icon CAM's in the game. But since you can sell Neymar he will be the better card to go for. BUT, if you have used Neymar for so long and want to change, do not hesitate to complete Ribery. Amazing card in any attacking position.
I give this card a 9 / 10. If he was 500-600k. 10 / 10. but he is really pricey and you will never get rid of this card. I think in around TOTS time. Ribery won't be your main card, but nor will Gold Neymar at the end of the day. If you remember his Summer Heat last year you will remember that Ribery is always class in Fifa. This time it is the same.
Dribbling 10 / 10. Really responsive. After step overs patch it is much harder to score goals. This card makes scoring easier with his quick feet.
Passing 10 / 10. Really a stand out thing, he can pass the distance and this is why I really liked this card.
Shooting 9 / 10. Not cracked, but better than 84. He finishes better than the likes of SIF Yedder, Freeze Dembele, Freeze ASM. Consistent but will miss some shots. At 10 games of champs he scored 13 and assisted 11.
Pace 8.5 / 10. Definitely manageable. Especially at CAM. If he was a striker in get in behind it may be a slight issue but at CAM he was quick enough.
Physical 8 / 10. He is not strong but not weak. Stamina is ok, but after 90 he will get tired.
Price. Too pricey, he is not overpriced and if he was on the market he would be a mil or so (look at Dembele's card, Ribery is better). But he is an SBC and 900k is so much for an sbc that you should evaluate if you should do this card or not.
At first, I was a little skeptical about the price and the good but not amazing stats. Still, I completed him due to his nostalgic and personal importance to me. Let me tell you... I do not regret it. This man is so bloody beautiful in term of play style and looks ;). He moves so nicely and elegantly, and his pass is so inch perfect he just makes me happy to play the game. His shot is insane and he barely misses. I love him so much. Play him along any player and he will be the man. I used a hunter on him and it fit him like a glove. Play him at st or lm or rm or rw or lw or cam or cf the list goes on where he can play. He will just do the job. Yes he is expensive but if you can get him for 550k or less. GET HIM NOW

- Only one: physicality is a bit low but he can easily use his skill moves to out maneuver that weakness
