Very good LB, but there is some issues

I really wanted to try icon LB this year. I've also tried 87 Zambrotta but it's hard to compare those.

But I tried 87 Cole first.

When I bought him he was around 315K and I think that was a very good price for that card.

With his 90 defensive awareness he looks like a beast. And he was, sometimes.

Here is the issue with the card, you need to boost his pace as much as you can, but you also need to boost his strength as much as you can.

So I bought him with a shadow and tried both, shadow and anchor on him.

With a shadow he feels very fast, but misses some of the pace, so he can get outpaced by fast players like Neymar, Adama, Saint-Maximin, Dembele and Mbappe quite easy. Even with a shadow.

And because of his work rates (M/H) he pushes quite far up the pitch. And with an anchor I felt he was pushing much higher up the pitch, that can be because he gets 88 aggression.

If you like to attack with your full backs you will love this card. He will going up and down, with great stamina (88) but he will feel slow from time to time. And not always be where you want him to be.

Eh, Just eh.

I mean. Im not complaining. I packed this guy from all my packs i saved up for toty. I just feel so many flaws in this card tho. His defending is top class., His dribbling is fantastic. His passing never fails me. But the most important thing fore a fullback nowadays is pace. and 85 is simply not enough. I play this guy on an anchor but he just never outpaces meta players like mbappe, salah, mane, werner, vardy, yedder etc....
