Player Review
85 - FUT Freeze
So I got this card as soon as I saw it, due to using the baby Capa for over 400 games as my main RB until Freeze Moreno came out yesterday. I was reluctant to do this Objective having only last night and today to do so, but it's a lot easier than it looks honestly, I completed the thing in an hour and a half last night. In my squad, I've linked to the review, I decided to swap him to CB with Navas going into his CDM role as these felt the more optimal positions for both players. Firstly, this card is free and the time needed is actually relatively low so really is not a problem or "cost" in my opinion and especially for what you get out. Capa has played 7 games for me so far, all Div 1 Rivals games and the team has: won 5, drew 1, and lost 1. He does not "feel" like a traditional CB at all but he does hold attackers off as well as tackle strongly, he also adds some nice dimensions in the role by being nippy, he's able to pinch the ball off the attacker and his interceptions are top quality honestly. The mix of high pace (I have an anchor on him) and the high agility in the dribbling makes him really good at catching up attackers or getting to the ball first and because of this he can turn and get off a pass easily once he's won it; as well as having top tier passing for a cb of course. The main thing people need to know, yes he can keep up and outrun the highest attackers in the game, he outsped Mane IF to several balls and I played only 1 out of 7 teams where the attackers were not Neymar and Mbappe and they caused him no issue. I think EA put a winner of an objective card here as of how realtively easy it is to do and the quality of the card; got get him!
As with every CB he's not a game changer in the sense of the guy who gets you wins by scoring or assisting, but he's solid and consistent and makes things very difficult for the attackers. Go grab yourself an incredible free card if he links your team and enjoy a very nippy CB!
Pace - 92 is enough at CB no problem
Passing - his range and ability is beyond any CB I've used previously
Defending - he tackles well and does surprisingly well at retaining possession after a tackle, otherwise very nippy and annoying (has that Kante vibe to him but in the tackle as well as being everywhere).
Physical - His physicals are really high and his stamina level is never an issue.
3* WF could be an issue for some? I don't think its really that necessary as a CB but worth mentioning for those that need more.
Heading?? I don't know as I haven't seen an issue, I don't find people cross a lot to score and if they do it's usually to an unmarked striker anyway, but I haven't tested it enough to say yes or no on it. It is why I've opted for the anchor also, to increase his jumping.
