Player Review
86 - Rare
This guy doesn't get talked about much this Fifa due to a certain French LaLiga LB, but in my opinion he offers a lot more than Mendy.
Defensively, you can argue Mendy is slightly better, but only due to his phyisicality. From my experience Alba often makes the crucial tackle and never seems to give fouls away.
However where Alba really shines is going forward. He's the best ball playing LB in the game and can basically play as a second winger which is so tough to defend against. There are very few LB in the game that have the close control and dribbling ability that he has, never mind his excellent all-round passing.
I fail to see why Mendy is seen as the better LB when he can't really offer anything going forward other than pace down the wing, which I admit is very useful but not when he's 1 on 1 against their RB. I'll be sticking with Alba for the time-being, the cheaper and frankly better of the two.
