Good at the start, but quickly replace

I really wanted to like this card. He's a great bargain buy for a Bundesliga CB with solid stats, getting up to an 88 with a anchor/shadow. He performed really well for me during the Rivals placement games, but quickly became a liability at the higher division levels.

I found that during the transition from offense to defense, he didn't work as aggressively to get back into position (M/M work rates). This leaves him open on the counter, and because of a combination of bad stats (agility, balance, body type) he can't really recover. It's kind of hard to look past this issue since pace is so important right now.

Aside from this issue, he performs well once he's set in position. His body type and strength make him an effective bully CB, so definitely pair him with someone more nimble.

He seems to get some sort of special card every year. Every year it is OP. I know some of you might say, "Oh, he looks good but Varane is still better cheaper and tradeable" Well, fuck that. I decided to do this Boateng since I was in need of a CB. I linked him with goretzka and Ter Stegan, with Kounde beside him. He is a really good card. He has the best tackling I have ever seen, and he can catch up to players if he gets going as well. His only problems and his low stamina, and his low acceleration. He also has great passing.
