Best non Icon LB in the Game?

After 8 80+ Picks I found myself with this Speed-Demon. My expectations were very high, considering its his Special Card number 4 and I played Champs with a kind of a Fun-Squad.

4:1 after the first 5 Games and I didn’t really noticed that I had a Headliner Theo. But I thought that’s normal, as soon as I face the big boys with the creative Mbappe-Neymar-Rashford teams, Hernandez will shine. Sadly I realized very fast that this wasn’t the case. With Lozano TIF in my team (98 Pace), I had the perfect comparison what it should feel like. If I must give him a number, I would not go higher than 90. Seriously, he was so slow, there wasn’t much of a difference to Torreiras Freeze Card (87 Pace).

Well, enough about the pace. What about his other stats? With reaction 85 and Composure 86 there wasn’t much bullshit with him. Typical (for me), for player with less Reaction and Composure is this thing when you tackle someone perfectly but the ball jumps from the opponents legs back to yours and back to them. That DIDNT happen one time. This combined with 90 short passing and 85 strength makes him really safe on the ball, when the enemy presses you.

Heading. His heading was terrible, so so terrible. I conceded minimum 2 goals after feeding him with a high ball from the keeper. So never EVER give him a high ball.

As I said, he is safe on the ball which not means good dribbling. If you get into tricky situations in offense which causes you to operate very fast in tight space, stay away from him. Not that he is terrible but I lost a lot of balls with him cause he’s to clunky for those situations.

He has good crossing stats, I didn’t really was in situations to test that so I can’t say much about that. His stamina was solid. Never had the feeling to sub him out.

OVERALL: Theo is a reliable tackler. If you get near to the opponent, there’s a high chance to get the ball. You wont catch up to the fast winger cause his pace doesn’t match with what the card says. He is terrible in heading and not the best in dribbling. He can pass good and is safe if your opponent goes with Team-Pressing. Would never spend 500k for him, go with his lower versions.
