Hidden Greatness

So, this weekend I decided that I wanted to feel pain. My team was a full MLS team bar the keeper as I'm not totally insane, now to be fair this team held its own and I managed Gold 3. So yes I threw Higuain in at the deep end, a real trial by fire. To my surprise, in 29 games he has 50 goals and 8 assists. The best way to describe Higuain is that he doesn't really stand out as a Mbappe would but he constantly finishes and score at least 2 goals per game. Now, you're all here to ask: "How does he fare against the headache meta of Varane + Gomez + Mendy" and I'm pleased to say quite well, he feels fast but also doesn't in a weird sense, I suppose I get this feeling because he's 6'1. Saying he's 6'1 you'd think he'd be like Haaland and turn like a bus but actually, he's very good at turning past players like a fat Beyblade. I bet you're now wondering about his strength and I'll be honest it ain't great, Varane and Gomez do body him as expected but against wing-backs, he manages to somewhat muscle them off the ball and I should say Higuain actually tackles better than some of the players I've used this year. Now in saying all this you will need a CAM that can pass or thread a good ball and hold it up for Jiggy Higgy to get into position but other than that Higuain's dribbing can put himself in a good position. Obviously FINISHING is a key part to this guy and at the start it was ropes, I thought it was down to the 80 composure but the further into weekend league I got and learnt the team more, I realised it was just me and the guy definitely can finish, that doesn't mean to say he won't throttle it at the keeper sometimes and I'd only finesse it really when I'm in the box in a finesse kind of position, otherwise, it'll miss with only 78 curve. Now Passing, all I have to say it's okay, like any other striker I guess, He could only really be a target man and not a combination of two strikers. (I should point out I went into a 4-2-3-1, both attack and defense balanced, Nothing changed except for defensive players to stay back)

Surprisingly good (So far)

I saw this Higuain card and immediately wanted to use him alongside Nani, CR7 and Robben in a 4231. He goes in at DT with nani at CAM, CR7 at LAM and Robben at RAM. I can easily say, without a shred of doubt, Higuain is the highlight of this attack. Good if you have the links

When I did this card I expected to get a slow chunky man who turns like a bus, but he plays like a machine very agile and quick, felt just like using Kenny Dalglish. If you have the fodder/coins and the links then this card is a steal.

Honestly this guy is surprisingly good. I completed him just because i had just done dos santos and wanted to use him in WL so i got this man, and he is class. He finishes most of his chances and he is quite quick and agile.
