Kalidou Koulibaly - Best value for money

I am a div 1 player with Elite 2 as my top WL placement last year. In this years installment I have tried other high end defenders like Varane and Ramos. These players will serve as reference in this review of Koulibaly 88. All games with Koulibaly has been played online in division 1.

Koulibaly compared to:

Ramos

Ramos is a great defender but his High/Med work rates, compared to Koulibalys Med/High, makes Ramos stand way further up the pitch. For this meant a greater vulnerability to counter attacks. When comparing Ramos with Koulibaly its obvious that Koulibaly is more of a power house. His extreme strength with a high aggression stat and weight means he will win you almost every duel. Ramos felt a bit weaker in this area. Ramos however excels with his heading ability and passing and dribbling compared to Koulibaly. Koulibaly also felt fast. In total I think Koulibaly is the greater defender.

Varane

Varane is faster but doesn't match Koulibaly in pure power. For me this meant that I felt more secure with Koulibaly due to me knowing he would with tight duels. Varane is an excellent defender but power is very important this year for defenders. I think Varanes low 80 in aggression sometimes fail him. In total Koulibaly felt beter.

Summary

Koulibaly is for me what Virgil Van Dijk felt like last year. He is simply put, a beast. In a team with Pele 91 I have named Koulibaly captain. Thats how highly I rate him. He is pure class and I give him my highest recommendations. Given the choice to choose freely without regard to price and chemistry I would choose Koulibaly over Ramos and Varane.

It is over it is literally done..

O-M-G. This guy... Its basically over for your opponents striker. He will outpace him, he will body him and force him to eat the dirt.This guy is soooooo cheap and amazing. If he was french and pl he will be 350-400K min. Only OK thing about him is his passing. He can for sure do simple passes to other center backs or gk, But he will not do a kdb pass to your striker to set him 1v1 with the gk?!?! I mean you get me. ...

This guy is an animal on the court, he has a great aggressiveness that helps him steal all the balls possible.It is an improved VVD and it can still improve more although there is still time for it to pass I wanted to tell you that if you need a central for Serie A or simply test some areas this is your player
