Eric Cantona the King

So the EA gods decide to bless me by granting me this monstrosity of card in the mid/prime icon pack and all I can say is WOW. This is a card. You can both play this guy as a striker and a CAM due to his immense passing stats but I prefer him as a striker. I would recommend using someone small and agile besides him (I used TOTGS Messi) As he isn't the most agile and can feel a bit clunky at times. Not a lot but a bit. I used the engine chem style which helped a lot. Although his left stick dribbling can feel a bit clunky at times I don't feel like you notice this when skilling with this card which is very important for me as I like skills. You can compare this card to Cristiano Ronaldo as they are very similar though i think that this card edges him. Every time you shoot with this guy the ball is in the back of the net. His finishing is absolutely incredible. All and all this is crazy crazy card an I can only recommend him.

Shooting - Not a lot to say. When you shoot with this guy, you score. Crazy shot power and combined with his finishing it makes for a deadly combo. Also the finesse shots on him are absolutely broken.

Long shots - Kind of the same as before. 92 shot power combined with 93 long shots makes for a crazy long shot.

Positioning - Always found this guy to be at the right spot at the right time.

Skills - 5* skills will always be a pro on any player and this guy just feels amazing to skill with.

Positioning - Probably what I found to be the best from this card was his positioning. With 92 positioning he always seemed to be at the right spot at the right time. His work rates are also great for both a CAM and a striker.

Heading - I've always found myself to struggle scoring headed goals both in terms of corners and just in general. I actually found myself scoring a few goals from the corner spot due to Cantona's height, jumping, and heading accuracy. Both of those stats are 92 which is just crazy.

Passing - Try to place a pass with this guy and he completes it. Immense.The vision combined with great long passing and short passing made me get a few assists with the king.

Strength - Try to hold L2 with Eric and it's done. Your opponent ain't touching the ball. Also just in generalwhen running besides a defender he won't be pushed off the ball which is very nice. A quite weird thing I noticed is that I scored a lot of bullshit goals with this card. Like where the opponent tackled me but I still managed to get the ball back. He just mashed thought the defender sometimes and his 91 reaction also helped him pick up those lost balls.

Pace - This is not a major pro but I felt like putting it here. For a guy that tall to have this pace is very impressive and I feel like he was pretty fast in game. But again you won't get Mbappe type pace from him

Dribbling - Much like the pace this is not a major pro.He feels good on the ball and always keeps the ball close to him but when it comes to those quick turns he can feel a bit clunky due to his size and "only" 86 agility and balance.

Stamina - Very good stamina and he won't run out wether you play him as a CAM or a striker.

Composure - 96 composure. 96! Give him a chance to win you elite in the 120th minute and he will put it past the keeper as if it was in a preseason friendly against Accrington Stanley.

Complete - This guy is just so complete and I think that it's worth noting that with an egine chem style the only non defensive stat not above 90 is his free kick accuracy. That is honestly just so unheard of.

Price - His price I really high and it's not that he's not worth the coins (which I think he is) I just think maybe you will be able to find a better card for the price point.

Clunky feel - As already mentioned sometimes he will feel a bit clunky when turning. This is not a major con since it's not very noticeable for a 3,5 mil icon I have to mention this. Again his dribbling isn't bad and I think you can compare his dribbling stat with 92 Ronaldo.
