Class Clauss

Jonathan Clauss can be played anywhere on the pitch and perform very well. Throughout the games ive used him I have played him RB, RWB, RM, RW, CDM, CM and CAM. I feel he best performed at RWB and CM. He feels fast and good on the ball and his passing is slick. Shooting and defending is good for a silver card. Physical is the greatest but an anchor chem style definitely makes a noticable difference. I'm a fan of short full backs but his agility and balance made his 6"1 body feel kind of similar to Jordi Alba's gold card. It's hard not to compare him to Sambia being both french/Ligue 1 and similar in stature and stats but Sambia is clear for me. The extra passing and 1* WF is key when playing out from the back and the overall strength of Sambia is just simply better. If i wanted a RB, CB or CDM i'd chose Sambia. If I wanted a more attacking player to play RWB or RM i'd play Clauss. He's ideal for Managerial Masterpiece and SIlver Stars but not much more then that.

The best ligue 1 fullback?!?

I originally got this card for an easy 85k, and that was an absolute bargain - he is nearly the perfect fullback/ the only thing that is missing on his card is the skill moves, wf and maybe a bit of strength and defending. However the body type helps the strength out a bit. I never played him at cb because I am true to my word that I will not play fullbacks at cb.
