Player Review
86 - IF
During the start of FIFA 21, I experimented with lots of different players and formations. Nowadays I am playing the 4-2-3-1 for the first time in several years and it offers me the stability I was looking for! One of the pivotal players in the team is without a doubt Milinkovic-Savic, who is playing at the left CDM. After slapping a shadow on him, the Serbian giant erased my doubts in just a couple of matches in the Weekend League. Enjoy the review, and let me know if you tried him.
Aerial threat
Scoring of a corner seemed impossible for a long time to me... But oh Lord this changed a lot while using Milinkovic Savic. To my own disbelief, he managed to score 10 (!) goals in the Weekend League in the first 10 games. The trait "power header" helped massively and me it almost impossible for goalkeepers to save 9 goals. In addition to that, he even managed to score a beautiful bicycle kick.
Presence on the field
Sergej is always in the right place, and intercepts a lot of balls. Thanks to his good passing, he is able to distribute passes all over the field. He is thus the definition of a "complete midfielder" thanks to his ability of regain possession and holding it. In addition to that, he is also tall (191cm) and has the powerful header trait which helps both in defense and attack.
Pace and ball control
When I bought the card, I was sceptic. Would this card really be useful? When looking at his stats, it immediately becomes clear that Sergej is not the fastest, nor the most agile player. I strongly believe that this is the reason not a lot of people use this card, as it is quite important in Fifa. But don't be fooled, this guy is actually really good even in the Weekend League when you know how to use him.
"Minimal" upgrade
When scrolling through the comment sections, I saw many people complaining about the small upgrade he received in comparison to his base card. In fact, this is true although I recommend you (if you have the coins) to try this card. You will not be disappointed!
