One of the best CDM/CM out there

So the last weekend league has passed and I wanted to try out some new players with TOTS being out. So I went out and picked myself up a Cancelo and Ruben Dias for that perfect link (Capgun Tom will be happy). I actually intended to use him at CB and to play to the ratty meta. Just like to put it out there, he is an incredible CB, his agility and balance is top tier for the position but I felt his 98 attack positioning and passing abilities were being wasted at the back so I swapped him into midfield alongside Renato after about 3 games of the WL. He played there for the rest of the weekend and he was honestly top tier. I played him as the Cm who goes forward in the 442 flat. If you’ve ever used Xavi then you’d say his positioning the final third mirrors that of the Barca legend. Cancelo is always in a position to give me an easy one, two pass and made breaking down these 5 at the back teams much easier. His defensive ability in Cm is unreal, he’s aggressive in the tackle with that 91 aggression (after the anchor chem style has been applied). He rarely loses the ball because his dribbling ability is a blessing to have in the midfield. His base shooting is OK but would recommend a gladiator if you wanted to boost it but when I had that applied, he didn’t fell as aggressive as I wanted him to be so I settled with an anchor and forced the shooting out of my two strikers.

And then his passing is unbelievable for base stats and I feel like he plays better than what they say because his through balls and passes were always on a dime to my Mbappe and Neymar.

If anyone is pondering about picking this guy up then I would say stop thinking and do it because he can change your midfield and defence ten fold.

Best RB I've used on FIFA 21

I was hesitant about using him because I didn't really like his gold card. But his RTTF is a HUGE upgrade. Feels faster than the 89 pace he's given, feels agile enough on the ball and is tall enough to win headers. His 4* skills are nice to get you out of trouble every once in a while. Even his passing and finishing abilities have come in handy.
