Surprisingly Solid

Packed in my 83+ x 25 pack I saved for the Summer Stars promo (along with 94 KP).

This review is for the casual gamer who doesn't have every icon/TOTS under the sun, ultimate fodder and bags of cash.

Considering we are entering July, Andreas has proved to be a solid CB to rival most top-tier EPL options. Face value, as a CB he doesn't look quick which is pretty important for a CB on WL, however, he always seems to pop up in the right place which means he doesn't need to enter a sprint race versus most 99 pace attackers. I am not a particularly good at defending on UT, so it is rare for me to praise a CB at all.

I managed to play 30 games today and ended WL with 17-13. Christensen saved me with goal stopping tackles/blocks in at least 5 games with a 1 goal margin. Definitely made the difference between Gold 2 and Silver 1 (what i usually get).

Certainly not meta but thats what makes the game more interesting. Hope you guys enjoy if you decide to use him!

Defensive awareness - 2nd to none in my books, always in the right place and will outdo 99% of players in a tussle.

Physical - 6'3 with high jumping and strength (paired alongside VVD) means no ST is winning headers from crosses. Make sure you select him when defending corners and sit him on the 6 yard box.

Tackling - I'm awful for holding B when standing up an attacker, but Andreas has long gangly legs which allows him to win most duels.

Pace beyond 10m - slow off the mark but speed he can 'keep up' so to speak.

Price - under 70k seems like a steal imo.

Links - Danish not so much but EPL with Chelsea allows a few options (I have a EPL/Eredivise hybrid).

Pace in small pockets - most attackers will beat him but that goes for any defender

Shooting - given his belter vs Russia, EA failed to give him an upgrade. Don't bother and pass it to someone better.

I have Christensen and VVD next to each other, I'd recommend having a pacier CB as a partner. I'm saving up for TOTS Fofana to replace VVD.
