Don't avoid ;)

Let me start off by saying,yes I am a Man United fan, but not necessarily the biggest Pogba fan.

IRL I have not made my mind up yet if we should cut our losses and sell him or keep him.

But, after seeing so many in the comments completly misunderstand this card, I just felt I had to speak up and clear any misunderstandings about this card.

I were playing Fabinho, normal gold Pogba and De Bruyne in my midfield. It did not work for me, at all. Just could'nt get the balance right it seemed.

Decided to make drastic changes, and after initially thinking what a lot of people were thinking, that this RB Pogba was just a glorified gold pogba shadow type thing.

And that, "why pay so mutch more for a little better defending, they're basically the same except this one needs a catalyst".

However, after taking a deeper look, and using Futbins compare players tool, and comparing Gold Pogba with Shadow, and RB Pogba, first with catalyst, and then engine.

Let me tell you, engine is the way to go, without a doubt. That is especially true in a 2 CDM formation where he is free to be the main CDM going forward.

Him and IF Valverde transformed my midfield, and finally I had a defensive, deep laying player I could use to break free forward and ease the other attackers job of getting space.

73 acceleration and 86 sprint speed for a 191 cm tall, strong player is more than enough, especially after a skillmove or two.

79 agility and 77 balance,paired with 5 star skills, 91 ball control and 98 dribbling, makes him very, very good on the ball and very able to get past the opponents midfield.

Pair it with 85 vision and 86 long passing, and he can really open up defences.

The added defensive abilities makes him miles better than Gold Pogba and most other attacking CDM's,

81 interceptions and 80 defensive awareness makes him behave completely different from what I ever saw of his normal card.

He is way more often just where you need him when defending.

Slight comparions to the people running either Zidane or Gullit as their second attacking CDM can definitely be made.

And I have to say, after having doubts in the beginning, he is very justifiale around the 850k-1000k mark when it comes to price and value.

At this stage of the game, you really cant get mutch better as a second attacking CDM, unless you really go all in for someone like 90 Gullit or something.

With engine, you have a CDM with all 80+ face card stats (Gullit Gang), 5 star skills, 4 star weak foot and great workrates for being an attacking CDM.

Phenomenal

What can I say. Being a United fan I get excited to use Pogba every FIFA since he returned and each year I've been disappointed. He's been slow, clunky and just not suited to playing in any of my teams. This year at 200k I thought I'd give that another go as he surely can't be any lower. He plays better than any of his previous years and is a game changer. Easily a 500k card and someone I'd rather have over De Bruyne.
