INSANE SOLID CB

Puyol is a solid, game changer cb for your team. although you may think his pace is a little low at 72, with the right chem style this is certainly not a problem. I really enjoyed using his card and he definatlely improved my defence. I have tried players like VVD (who is not as strong a player this year), Gomez and Rijkard but Puyol has been my favourite by far. His passing out the back and clearances are also very strong and he does what is required to get you the important victories. I have played with him in division 3 in rivals and he is up to the standard required to get you your wins. The only problem I have personally had with him is that he is not great at dribbling however as he is a cb this is not much of a problem. At a price of 600k he is definatley worth it and i feel like he is brilliant value and adds a lot of strength to my team.

I got him out of a Mid-or-prime Icon pack. I was disappointed, but decided to try him anyway. First thing you notice is his aggresion, he doesnt hesitate a second before diving into tackles. This can be seen as a positive thing but sometimes he gets too agressive causing him to run up to the midfield, leaving gaps in the defense. He is also kinda slow, with his 72 pace (82 with chem style) he has trouble catching up to pacy attackers after a (rare) failed tackle. He is also a little bit small for a defender (5'11") but I did not notice this too much due his high jumping.

The positive thing about this card is that he really looks and feels like Puyol, his face and hair are a joy to look at. He also points everywhere all the time showing hes a real leader just like in real life, so if you play for fun and want players you enjoy in real life aswell, this card is not a terrible option. If you are a sirious player focused on winning, then there are better alternatives for half the price.
