Suker Sauce
By cbaynham01, 14-10-2020

I was stoked to see Suker back in the game as an Icon this year. I had him the last time, I think it was 2014 and loved playing with him. I knew I would try and get him early on and build around him to enjoy the game.

Since access I've been grinding/ buying and selling higher rated players in preparation to sell these players prior to the first WL when prices start to rise on highly sought players like Salah, Son, Haland, etc. (They Have). I sold and created a decent team around Suker and OTW suarez (investment) and I cannot be happier with the team!

Davor Suker star is the most fun player in the team and the best striker I have used this year! Hi finishing is OP and he puts everything away. His positioning and attacking runs are crazy, he's ahead of the curve here. Suker will be at the forefront of my team for a while! I paid 680k for him but the way he feels after 8 rivals games (Div 3) is incredible. It's only 8 games, but he scored 14g and 6a in those games. He feels incredible and is game changing. I used to struggle to break down the deep block teams and create chances but Suker and suarez open up these teams like its nothing in a traditional 442 playing off each other. No one can stop his impact from game to game. He feels very value and like he's going to be an important staple in my team for awhile.

Baby Suker review
By chiccoarc, 29-11-2020

I got him in my base icon pack and I was so happy since this card is really usable. His shooting is phenomal and he has also got good pace and dribbling. The only con is his bodytype (lean). He is so thin in game that can he pe pushed off the ball quite easily. I played him ST in 4-2-3-1 and rST in 4-4-2. He works well in both positions but maybe he is better in a 2 ST formation because of his bodytype. I played him right striker since he has got high curve to finesse it to the far post and he has also got the outside foot shoot traid so he can score even near post with his left. I played 54 games and he scored 74 goals (division 3 rivals and wl), that's all you need to know.

A good icon
By JediPurpleSquirrel31, 01-03-2021

I'd heard some good things about Davor Suker, so I was quite exited after packing him from base icon pack. I was not disappointed. His pace and dribbling are both good and the shooting is excellent. Four star skills and weak foot is also very helpful.

The card's strength and aggression are pretty abysmal. However, my main complaint is that he doesn't particularly stand out. Suker's stats are fairly well rounded, with pace, shooting and dribbling all having similar values and there is no one stat which is significantly higher than the others. As a result, this card doesn't feel like it has a specialty, like Pirlo's passing or Ronaldinho's dribbling and skill moves. Although still good, because of this Suker does feel like he somewhat lacks that wow factor in game. This is by no means a terrible thing as it means he is very versatile, but it would have been nice for him to have that one or two stat(s) that really stand out and give the card a uniqueness.

. Well rounded

. Very good shooting

. Good dribbling and pace

. Four star skills and weak foot

. Very low strength and aggression

. Doesn't particularly stand out as the card has no one stat which gives it that uniqueness

Suker keeps surprising
By PladimirVutin, 20-12-2020

When I did a base icon pack, I wasn't happy when i got Suker out of it. I mean his stats looked kind of good and it was a new icon, but would've rather packed a faster attacker or useful midfielder. Now that I've used this dude for 2 weekend leagues, I came to Futbin specifically to review this player because there is some things I didn't expect and I want to share them with you.

He is 6'0 but doesn't feel clunky at all. I used a Hunter chemistry style on him and with the 4*4* he feels very good dribbling wise too. Don't get me wrong, he is not Neymar, but body faints, berba spin, drag backs, everything is very doable and responsive. I like to try different players, not only the meta ones, and I've used him up top with Lewandowski's player of the month card. Both not fast, but both kind of agile and amazing finishers.

That's of course the main deal with the card: his finishing. He finishes every 1 on 1 he gets. Lewandowski is at 130 matches, 133 goals currently and Suker is at 63 matches, 68 goals, all in Div 2 and Fut Champs. Since he has 91 volleys as a base stat, i sometimes press R3 before i shoot from a difficult angle and I can tell you: he scored some screamers. Personally i like doing skills and have used neymar and mbappe for quite some time, but using suker and lewa somehow gives me more enjoyment when i score. His pace is honestly quite good and I've often outpaced Varanes and Koundes with him. For the 350k he is right now on PS4, he is definitely worth a try imo!

Only downside I noticed, is the passing sometimes. especially throughballs and long passes lack a bit. But that's all there is to it.

suker base icon review
By Ffsnoble, 04-03-2021

i recently brought this card for 250k as i wanted to try out a newer icon on the game. i expected him to be average as an icon can be for 250k however he did surprise me. i found him quite smooth to use on the ball and not at all clunky and he provided a really nice option to use upfront. his passing was really good and i found it useful as he was able to do the job on the ball. pace wise we are talking pretty solid however i would say that the only chem style that you should put on him is a hunter as otherwise he feels a lot slower. i was slightly disappointed with his physical because i expected him to be able to hold off a few defenders however this isn't a huge issue depending on how you use him. his 4* wf and 4* skill moves make him a really good all round striker and to be honest i would go as far to say that he is hugely underrated and that he was worth the 250k for me. overall i would recommend that you give him a chance if you are considering him because he surprised me and i think that he is really good value for money.

. shooting was very good

. passing was really solid for any striker

. pace was solid with a hunter chem style

. felt really smooth to use n the ball

. 4*4* is ideal for a solid striker

. price was definitely worth it

. 6ft is the perfect height

. its harsh but i felt that his physical was average and let him down slightly
