As a Chelsea Fan this guy gets the job done, would be fair for the prime to be 90/91. Nonetheless in need of English Icon Defender for Tavernier, Cole seems to be the man. As a Left-Back his pace is solid enough to contain pacy wingers as well as high defensive awareness puts him in position to win the ball 9/10 of the time. The passing and dribbling is solid enough to get the ball moving and sustain pressure. As a Center-Back in a 3/5 in the back, defensively he gets it done with the interceptions/tackling. The height and strength can be a slight issue against strong/taller attackers, but you should have a taller/stronger defender to cover for that. He checks the marks for a defender but he's not going to be special for you going forward and being the game-changing Left-Back.
