I play Hulk as a right ST with the Finisher Chem style in a 4-1-2-1-2 (2), with Sterling next to him and Firmino at CAM. I like having a fast ST for counter attacks, and a more powerful one for when my opponent’s defense is in place. Hulk seemed like the perfect candidate, as he has very good stats for a striker, especially with his balance upgrade this year, and was really cheap.
He has been nothing short of incredible for me, having scored 24 goals in 15 Rivals games so far, when Sterling, as my left ST has scored 9. His pace has not been an issue at all, as he is rather quick, and when he gets in behind, he has the strength to hold off defenders easily, so they wont get the ball off him. His strength is also really useful for when he gets the ball in the box, as he is able once again to hold off the defenders and with the Finisher chem style, he is lethal when he shoots inside the box.
Pace – It’s not great, but when defenders catch up to him he can easily hold them off with his strength. 8/10
Shooting – He is lethal in the box, especially with the Finisher chem style on. His 3* weak foot is not great though. 9/10 because of weak foot
Passing – pretty good for a ST, he is able to find good passes, especially with the double triangle/double Y. 8/10
Dribbling – He feels great on the ball with the Finisher chem style. I play him with Sterling and Firmino, and he feels just as good as them on the ball. 10/10
Physical – Just an absolute tank, obviously 10/10
Overall, I would recommend Hulk as a ST in a 2 ST formation, but I reckon he would also do an amazing job as a lone ST considering his stats and the way he feels in-game.
- Actually a RW so you'd need to change your formation IG. I would not recommend him as a winger
- 3* WF is meh
