79 - Libertadores
At the beginning of Fifa I always look for cheap and good solutions outside the top 5 leagues. This time I found my players at River Plate (Casco/Martinez Quarta/Fernandez).While Martinez Quarta and Fernandez are solid players who are good but not outstanding, Casco always surprises me. He has a very good pace for this stage of the game. I did not boost it with a chemistry style because he can catch nearly every winger (except the top tier wingers, but most players don't have them yet). So I went for Powerhouse to boost his defending and passing. Some games I played with "stay back" for my LB and RB but Casco needs to go down the whole pitch. He can support your offensive nearly the whole game (91 stamina). It is also very helpful that he has a 5 star weak foot. He has already scored a nice goal with his weak foot, cutting in from the left and shooting (like Robben did his whole career, but from the other side). I can recommend him for everyone who searches for a cheap starter LB.
- Pace (at this stage of the game)
- Passing (with Powerhouse)
- Offensive support
- Headers (he is very short)
- Strength/Body (most time no problem because wingers are also not the biggest players)
