Pavel the GOAT Nedved he is just OP. His shots are insane especially his longshots outside the box. And with his stamina you can play easily 90+ minutes with him.

For this price you definitely find no bettter CAM then him. Additionally he also stops a lot of counter from your opponent with his good defensive work.

At first my instructions:

CAM in 4231 (narrow) with everything on balanced

LM in 424 with get in behind and run inside

LCM in 41212 (narrow) with everything on balanced (mostly used)

Before getting to details the reason why I decided to buy him.

I knew Nedved would be amazing again, looking at the current gameplay and what the meta is. I used all Nedved's in previous FIFA's and I've been more than satisfied with his performances.

The middle version is the best one (expect prime moments oc) imo cause he feels way more agile than his prime what's the most important as a forward (unfortunately).

As you can read above I play him at several positions. He performs at best in central positions but he'll also be decent out wide (hunter needed there).

Passing: 9/10

No matter what if you need simple short or long passes or double taps, crosses or strong balls (R1) he'll deliver the most perfectly. But with bad gameplay (servers) you'll see that he'll miss a few advanced passes but because of his 5 stars weak foot you'll never have to move the ball to his strong foot what makes your build up play a lot faster and easier. But I can't rate it 10/10 cause I played with other midfielders with perfect passing like Ballack etc., where never a pass misses so I guess 9/10 is accurate.

Pace: 8/10

His pace without hunter is normally good enough to play him at CAM on top tier FUT level but with hunter he's able to play out wide as well and as a striker, so I decided to give him hunter again.

If you compare him to De Bruyne he is way faster but not as fast as Neymar.

Shooting: 9/10

Again near to be perfect WITH BOTH FEET. With good gameplay you'll have a good chance to score twice every game with him. His stats are not correct imo. His finishing feels like 90 and his shot power as well. His curve on finesses is outstanding and you can score out of long range opportunities.

Dribbling: 8/10

At first - HE IS NOWHERE NEAR TO BE CLUNKY! He turns fast enough to make quick decisions in your build up play or to turn around to fool your opponent in the box. His four stars skills come on top. But if you need guys like Neymar or Ben Yedder you may be disappointed (of course he doesn't turns that fast).

Physicality / Defending: 10/10

Simply perfect and meta. This guy is often compared to Neymar cause they are both LM who are mostly played in a central role. Here I found the main advantage of Nedved compared to Neymar. Nedved feels super strong on the ball, so it's really hard for the opponent to body him what's the main issue with thin guys like Neymar.

His stamina and his workrates are perfect as well. Due to his high defending work rate I can play him as LCM in 41212, cause he works his ass off to get the ball back what I really love about him.

Nedved's defending is outstanding for a forward what's the next reason for me playing him as LCM. I have Pogba at RCM and Nedved's work against the ball feels more effective ngl.

AI / CPU effect:

Due to speed dribbler I didn't had to push his dribbling cause it feels like a solid 90. Long shot taker is also noticeable cause he can score screamers with both feet. Early crosser is also great if you play him out wide.

Summary:

His good pace and dribbling with 4 stars skills, great passing and shooting with perfect physicality and defending are already making him to a great forward but his unpredictable 5 stars weak foot sets him at top tier in the current market. He is a game changer again for me and I guess I won't replace him until his Prime Moments comes out (position change to CAM).

Just make sure that you have some fast target players in your squad around him to allow him to take over the playmaker role. His price is a joke and a absolute bargain. He should be around 700k like Neymar.

So I was stupid and did the Base or Mid Icon SBC and ended up getting this guy. I was bummed since I hoped for better but did take solace in seeing his stats and realizing he is very useful compared to other icons. I put him in my team as my LM in a 4-2-3-1 with Hunter chem to boost his pace down the wings. After playing with him for a few weeks now, I'd say he's a very solid icon. His passing is phenomenal in setting up give-and-go's and getting good crosses in. His shots are on point and has been useful in getting the ball in to set up goals. All in all, he's a really good player. Some cons are I wouldn't buy him at his price. I'm only using him since he's untradeable but if I didn't get him from the SBC, I would have likely picked up a winger with more pacey for far fewer coins. In terms of cons on the field, his dribbling isn't crisp compared to guys like Dembele or Saint-Maximin nor does he have blazing pace like those two but they aren't huge issues. Lastly, his links aren't the best. Overall, Mid Nedved is a really solid choice for a LM icon and if you somehow get him from the Base or Mid Icon SBC, he's definitely worth keeping around will be a solid option for your squad.
