I heard all about this French Kanté this French Kanté blablabla...
*lights up Le Cigarette* So I decided to try him out with anchor. I did not expect much from this little man going into the first FUT Champs game... Opponent gives the ball and rushes me... this black dwarf comes out and beats Drogba to death.
Listen closely mon friends, this guy, is a rocket. And he's so strooong and his tackles are formidable, This guy, is the French Kanté but on steroids. You can play Makélélé like you can play the ukulele. It's nice. Can recommende. Have a good day.
Stroong
Nice
Has steroids
Only is the best player in the game
I got this card from pack. So I used him in 4-4-2 formation as CM with both CM are stay back with Anchor chemistry
He can chase the ball or help cut passing lane quite well but have little problem to intercept header if you face player with 6-feet height.
For attacking perspective, he can pass the ball quite well (short and long ball) but with role I assigned for him, so no chance for him to shoot much.
So compare with current player, I feel like he is Kante with better passing and header

They had us in the first half, not gonna lie.
After tremendous disappointment, from the first base/mid icon i was in a state of flux whether to do the second one - or invest 300k + fodder towards firmino. In the end i ended up rolling the dice - hoping for the best. Seeing the frencch flag i was kinda buzzed only to see makelelele - to that point my reference for him was his 85 rm. But boy was i about to be suprised, because this guy is a whole different beast. I swap to a 4-2-3-1 ingame with him and gravenbech on defensive. (I packed him on my secondary account so team dosen't look as incredible ikn). But nontheless it's effective. Having used many different defensive midfielders this fifa, i wasen't really sure what to expect from him.
So first of all his low overall stats as is a lie - like his shooting stats are way below the average for high tier defensive midfielders, same goes for f/k accuracy and curve. It's not often that he is ever gonna take a freekick or be in the box when you play him as - cdm with stay back while attacking. (i let my backs push up in attack). His work rates are amazing (L/H) if you play him the way i do. His stamina never lets him down, and he dosen't push up field, his interceptions are cold and calculated. His agility, balance, reaction and compsure fits this beats perfectly under pressure. Due to strength + height and balance he is hard to bully.
Overall i thorughly enjoy him - i really feel like he has been a valuable addition to my (seccondary) club. - if you are considering RTTF sissoko or this card / his prime - go with makelelele!
His interceptions are crucial.
High acceleration.
W/R, this a huge +
Composure under pressure.
-Dribbling (bit of a let down sometimes, but my playstyle is very passing dependent so not too bad)
Don't bother shooting with him.
There obviously are better CDMs out there but they are few and far in between, for the role i play him in he is phenomenal though, if you haven't tried him out i would recommend picking him up for a WL.
I ama gold 1 player and I used this card for 2 or 3 weekends. This card isn't that fast but has great defending and physicals. He can really bully players off the ball. I didn't mind being short and having an average body type, moreover, I thought it increased his agility and balance off the ball. I really liked using him in CDM but I needed a faster player and didn't like the fact that he can't shoot or pass. His long passes and through balls are not that accurate. His stamina is not bad but I generally subbed him out during 60-70th minutes when he had about 60 stamina (I don't use team press btw). The reason I sold him was his pace. I thought I needed a faster player on my midfield and replaced him with 85 Blanc. His highlight for my team was when he managed to score an outside the box chip in Champs with that 47.
