Now, I will review Martin Odegaard. I had to put him on bench because of chemistry reasons, but he is great. I play him as a wing or forward and he is amazing. He scored a free kick and a volley for me already. He can dribble really well and a lot of assists for me. He is brilliant

Not a bad pre-order gift!

Odegaard is an odd one, similar to my OTW Hazard gift last year except this time the 5* skills and my... development in this area (my natural elastico actually being useful, yay!) made this an interesting card. Half a dozen appearances as a super sub in the first WL he did OK. However this weekend as my CAM in a 4-2-3-1 or at LM/ LCAM in a 4-4-2 and 4-2-3-1 made him a must have!

Dribbling and Skills - They go together. His standard dribbling with his upgrade feels pretty damn fantastic. His 5* skills also are a wonder and he feels quite speedy and agile despite his fairly low card speed.

Passing - His passing is amazing. Long, short and crossing this guy has it all. Assisted multiple winners IF he wasnt already subbed out. Great for corner assists too.

Shooting - His left foot is a want, amazing. His right is... not as bad as his 2* suggest, as long as you use the broken angles.

Defending - as a LM or CAM he has decent defending stats so can help out. My wingbacks are fairly weak so he helps cover them. Can't ask for much more.

Physical - His physical stats I think are a little underrated. But they perform as the card suggest so not great, his stamina doesn't seem to last particularly well, odd considering his supposed 82.

Work rates - He can be a little lazy at times. Especially if you are fighting for a winner. His quality can let him get away with this at times.. but it is a problem at others.

Good starter cam

He is one of the best starter cams in the game his passes are amazing he is quit slow for my play style but with a hunter he is going to be really good.(He might be better for you but I like to play fast footbal and for this use he might not be the best). His shooting is really good but again I bought him with a hunter so he was faster and he had better shouting.His physical was really bad but his stamina was alright. Evn with the 2 star week foot I think it wasnt that bad even when he could shout with his right foot he changed to his left by him self and the opponents goal keeper didnt expected it

It Depends

Allready played him in 76 games, its not perfect, ideal CAM, but his good. Mostly he depends on a squad u put him to. His great when it comes to dribbling, passing, positioning at center of the pitch. His weaker foot don't feel that bad in game, actually most of goals I scored with him was scored by right one. His also fast at short distances, however, when it comes to a longer run, most of players will catch him. Also sometimes where u go 1 on 1 he likes to shoot straight into the keeper or to the corner (of a pitch, I mean :) ). So, if u have some good finishers, fast players and u just need some playmaker with good passes, go for him.
