I am a Div 2 player, who is always scratching on div 1 and reach Gold 1 most of the time.
Raul is my most expensive player in mainly a 4222 (+ sometimes 4321 and 4231) system. I played now 50 Games in DR and WL with him and his record is 57 goals and 33 assists with Hunter chem style.
He was playing upfront with Hazard and shared the amount of goals in total with him. He´s not only a clinical finisher but also a very great playmaker and prepares a lot of goals. I could even imagine that he would be an extremely good CAM if you have the budget to spend that much coins for that position.
He is hardly to compare with any of the other typical strikers. He is flying around the pitch always seeking for holes and 1-2 combinations. His pace+body type isn´t made for simple quick runs into the deep and running away from every defender. It´s a rather a more complex style to play the game. He needs partners around him for good combinations but his dribbling and Positioning is so amazing. He always finds the gap to create danger. 1-2 combination 10m away from the box, agile dribbling, 1 step sprint and BOOOM Finesse shot into the corner. That´s what you will do a lot with him and what is working out great.
Without a partner upfront in a 4231 system he is kind of lost though in my opinion and for my playstyle. Here I would rather place him as centre CAM with a good striker if I would have the necessary budget.

This is the story of Raúl, the icon I packed in the second week of the game when I picked untransferable packs in division rivals rewards...he came up in the second pack. When I first saw him, I couldn't believe it, I thought I opened a pack with a loan player, but when I realized that wasn't the situation, I had a smile the whole day. He took most important position in my suad, he was my striker. Since the very begining I started to feel some good and bad things with him.
His left food is amazing, with finesse and normal shots, he is quick enough to go trough defenders, but his dribling isn't as good as it shows in the card, he feels a little clunky sometimes, and he's not that agile, but you can still control him pretty good.
That was when I used him as an striker, but then I tried putting him as a my central CAM, I looked he has 89 short pass and 88 vision, very good for a CAM. He didn't desapoint me, he scored bangers in every game, and now he also assits to my ST and wingers.
Now, he had played 109 matches, he scored 128 goals and made 49 assits, very god numbers with him.

It's a shame because he's one of my favourite players but this card is unusable for me. I can see by his type of movements how it could work for some people but for me he doesn't make the right runs and is usually out of position, even when I tried to give him strict intructions. If you're still going to buy him despite this review, put an engine on him and use him as a CAM. Trust me, you don't want him as a striker even with hunter.
