So, here we are. New FIFA, new cards, first review!
I decided to buy Luis Suarez as a half investment (with him only being 100k, very good in game *spoiler* and not a huge supply of him) and half to use with my Carrasco and Partey.
I played him as a ST in a 4-2-3-1 and with a hunter.
Pace - 6
Obviously, he isn't as fast as my IF Vardy but does know how to get around the pitch. He isn't going to break defensive lines for you and I would recommend using him as a touch and go player anywhere further than 25 yards from goal.
Shooting - 10
Suarez finishes EVERYTHING. Right or left foot. He can finesse extremely well, but his real use comes from his power shots, far or near. Get in the box with Suarez? It's a goal. *insert Mbappe crying celebration*
Passing - 9
Not going to dwell here for too long. His short passes are consistent and he's very capable of through balls on the ground or lofted.
Dribbling - 7.5
With only 72 pace and 3* skills, dribbling isn't easy to use with Suarez. However, on the ball, he feels very nimble with his sharp turns and great ball control. Side note, RB/R1 fakeshots are very good with Suarez to break through gaps inside the box due to the high acceleration boost and his good ball control.
Defending - 2
So you want to use him as a CDM? My advice... Uninstall
Physical - 8
His jumping is okay, nothing great, which is a shame considering his good heading accuracy. His stamina is also on the lower side. However, considering he's a slower player (meaning you're less likely to be sprinting around with him) he seems to be able to last slightly longer than others. Personally I sub him off for IF Vardy in the 60th minute, which is why his record isn't as high as other players. His strength is very good. Obviously when a Tomori comes steaming in, he doesn't always keep it, but I reckon when it comes to on the ball duels, he manages to keep it 7/10 times.
Misc - 8
High (att) - Med (def) is almost perfect for me, but this of course is opinion based. His 6'0" height is okay, not too tall where he becomes clunky, but not too small where he can't challenge in the air. However the 3* skills kills it for him. Combined with his 72 pace, it really forces you to use him as a touch and go player until you reach shooting distance. He's only really capable of doing the odd RB/R1 fakeshot or body faint to beat one man inside the box.
For 100k, definitely pick him up. I easily see him going to 150-200k+ over the next week or two making him a worthy investment. However if you just want to him simply to use, then he's definitely still worth it!

As a Barca fan, I had to buy this card considering how cheap it was (bought at 75k with Hunter). And I was not disappointed. Luis Suarez actually fells like Suarez, finally.
-His finishing is amazing. 99 with hunter. Obviously for now, in FIFA21, a lot of players with not high rating can finish pretty well but trust me, you can see the difference right away. Unless you dont put enough power, he doesn't miss. Volleys are amazing with Suarez, you can also shoot directly after you turn. His left foot is just as good as his right, like in real life. I don't recommend using long shots, unless you are in a dead end situation.
-His dribbling feels great. He is so quick in small spaces, and you can break through AI defences very easily so if your opponent "offballs", try to give the ball to Suarez asap and do a little fake shot and you should get an open look 9 times out of 10.
-Pace: surprisingly good with Hunter. Doesn't get catched up often and can outpace easily 75 pace defenders (at least without shadow). As stamina loss has been reduced this year, if you dont use team press, you can rely on his speed until the 75th mark I'd say.
-Physicality: his heading game is good. I've scored a few headers, not on corner kicks but from crosses.
-His passing has been so inconsistent and bad for me. Or maybe its just me because Im not very efficient with through balls this year but even with short passes He isnt very accurate so if you play with 2 ST like I do, he is better on the receiving end of the pass obviously.
-Physicality: His strength doesn't feel like an 86 but more like a low 70. If he gets hit once, you will most of the time lose the ball and even on through balls he doesnt win a lot of bounces.
